Glitches in Undertale Yellow are BROKEN!

Another minor glitch I'd like to add that I found during a neutral run. If you're fighting a double encounter and the experience from one enemy you killed is enough to level up, fleeing will still level you up but will not update your HP to the correct level

Interesting glitch I found is that in the first genocide martlet fight, I found that lowering her health with rubber ammo into a range where rubber ammo won't kill but ice pellets will, then switching to ice pellets mid fight in the item menu and then killing her will activate her otherwise unused defeat dialogue and then the game crashes! They should... Really patch that.

Another glitch I found is during the flowey fight, during the end of the first part of the fight where you're running down that long corridor that changes to the different areas of the game, right after the true lab part fades to black, start backtracking. Flowey will start his "where did you go" dialogue, but the vines will keep popping up, and you'll be stuck in place. When you eventually die since you can't move, the game will freak, playing the damage audio a bunch of times and then it crashes itself.

When building the robot, take a tall piece (busted head, tv, trashcan, wheel leg) to ceroba at the lowest point possible (against the bottom wall). When she asks about the piece, you will not give it to her, she'll end her dialogue, and the cutscene will instantly reser, but you'll have control of clover. If you interact with the vent in this state, you will crash.

There's a funny glitch where if you use the bag to get movement at the tumbleweeds and get hit, you will spin off screen and get turned sideways.

9:35 I found something similar with the pole kid and the mines elevator. I discovered this glitch by doing it with the kid, who's dialogue reappears after you leave and reenter. When I did it in the elevator, I walked towards the edge of the room with the menu open, selected pickaxe, and then left. The sound for the wood breaking plays, but it doesn't break. The pickaxe does disappear from your inventory so and the elevator is closed, so you can't progress without closing the game.

ohhhh, the bag! I tried to keep movement with that menu, but it sadly turned out to be a dead end. there's so many crashes and softlocks with movement in inventory that it was getting frustrating to glitchhunt this game

I stumbled upon something in the code while trying to add KR to two of the final bosses (for some sick reason) I'll have to check it once i have a chance, but it might be possible to just skip atleast one of Flowey's attacks in Phase 1 of the neutral boss.

During that one Flowey attack during Phase 1 where it has his head dancing above the box while the spikes on the sides of the box spin around, you can just press Page Up on the keyboard to end the attack immediately. Specifically ONLY that attack.

One glitch I found was that after giving the coffee to the pole bunny I was able to interact with the pole and have the item selection menu open. Afterwards I was able to move with the menu open. (Not really useful but it was funny to discover it.)

With the intro of the video I thought for sure that you were going to show the glitch where if you have Marlet with you and ride the minecart it will show her dialogue on screen, but use the normal text sound. This is not a speedrunning skip, quite the opposite, but it was the first (and one of very few) glitches I found while playing.

One bug that I've discovered in geno is that if the last 2 monsters in a region get encountered in a double battle, you can kill one and damage the other up until it's sparable due to low hp, but if you flee then the game will count that last monster as dead anyway, and the next encounter will be a nobody came encounter, although you haven't outright killed that last monster

@@KyoshiCadre I did this yesterday, I did it in the room in snowdin where you first encounter know cone, and the double encounter was the igloo and a knowcone, killed the igloo and fled from the knowcone, version 1.1

I tried doing the axis chase skip 1 in pacifist and realized why it doesn't work, it works perfectly fine at first since you can still move during the text and make it to the next room. but when you get to the axis chase 2 room ceroba isn't there and so when the cutscene starts the game crashes

I found 2 unecissary glitches which just softlock you and i have no idea how i did them (might also be patched as they occured in 1.0) In my first playthrough i had to watch a video on how to beat starlo because i somehow made his whip undestructible. Then i restarted and everytime it hit the whip i got the message to stop moving after that everytime i moved...which softlocked me AGAIN. Best first playthrough. I know these are absolutely useless but hey this is a video about glitches so why not talk about glitches.
