Glitchtale Fan Animation | 'THE TRUE HERO' (Undyne VS Betty Remaster)

After 9 to 10 long excruciating months, this project is finally complete, what started as just a cool remaster of the original fight turned into a full on 15 minute short film inspired from Glitchtale or more specifically, Alphys and Undyne in Glitchtale.
So yeah I really really hope you all enjoy this and PLEASE, if you did, share this around to anyone you think would be interested, like the video and comment so that the totally very reliable KZbin algorithm will recognize this. Betty had a list. it was a very simple list. That list only had two things on it, a title, and a single name, that list was a list of every monster she felt was the only true credible threat to her, the only name on it, was sans, as she knew how he was able to even push Frisk to the brink when frisk was at his Strongest. However she failed to add two names to that list. Gaster, Progenitor to Papyrus and Sans, his existence had been wiped from history after his fall into the CORE, so it was understandable why even the great soul of FEAR had forgotten this once powerful warrior, the only other besides asgore who survived the War of Humans and Monsters, and likely the only other with an LV above 1. His research into the soul unlocked his Ability Polychromatism, granting him access to the abilities of 5 of the 6 magic properties of Human souls. to fight gaster at his peak is as if you were fighting a 5 on 1 battle, each at their magical peak. And the Second name she forgot, was Undyne, the only monster whose bravery, constitution, and Willpower was a match for the Destructive nature Determination had on a Monster with no physical form, even when her body was pure magic she was able to hold on through the no doubt agonizing pain and fight Frisk. And now, with a physical body, that same Determination, that will to persevere, that refusal to give up even when all hope is lost, that thing inside her that makes her a True Hero. Will Bring Betty to her knees

Now that I see it again, the scene with Papyrus actually foreshadows what is about to happen. Undyne seemingly takes offense at Papyrus thinking that Gaster is stronger than her, and in her regular form, he certainly is. Making it all the more shocking to see Betty defeat him. Then Undyne goes Undying, and she clearly dominates Betty in battle.

i have seen a video collaboration of people redrawing few scenes from glitchtale from W.D gaster vs betty,descended scientist and others- but the fact this was animated from one person is impressive and how long it took to animated along with editing everything together. you re-mastered the entire scene of the fight and the interaction between characters while adding some flare and a small change of scenery (different perspective shots through the fight sequence, dynamic pose ,little animation details and facial expression ) this was really cool and a deserved effort to be proud of! well done! ☕🔥

I've always adored the way you do animations, especially because you do it on SAI, something that is not meant for animation but just art. Your way of doing lighting, shading and effects like glows and darkness is incredible. This is one of the best reanimations and also an extremely creative project, because of the original scene and the epilogue, I've ever seen. Donut and Thomas did so well with voicing the original scene, along with Franky's music. The fact that you used a remix for the fight is also quite cool. Blair's sound design is just spectacular as always, fitted very much for this. And that ending with Sans talking... 👀 Edit: ALSO I WOULD LIKE TO MENTION THAT ALPHYS'S DEATH FELT VERY PAINFUL. You convey emotions very well.

Beautifully animated, the original version was already downright amazing but this improves on it for sure, especially enjoyed the addition of showing the transition from smug unstoppable abomination in human form to "oh crap I'm in danger" during the transformation. 2. That Undyne and Papyrus scene you added was adorable 3. It's somewhat frightening to consider that all Betty taking in a literally Universe ending mass of hatred did was make the fight even...and this isn't even Undyne's final form as of the most recent episode.
