To answer the question, I LOVED the Delta Episode. With R/S/E being my first Pokemon game, you can imagine this game is special to me. Then, after seeing the game with new life breathed into it, with just slight differences to keep nostalgia but make it a new experience all the same, they throw the Delta Episode at you, huge insights to the lore of these games, huge boss battles, a way to catch a previously event specific Pokemon in the post game... Then add the fact that you get probably the best music I've heard in a Pokemon game to date with this track... it's incredible. Also, this remix is AMAZING!

Man, I sure hope she finds the part of her that she lost. I hope she comes back from her journey and while she may not be able to completely forget the past, she won't think the future is hopeless either. I hope I see her again. I personally find that she was a good character and for the short spotlight she received, she was developed really well. I did dislike her because she hurt May (not cool) and she knocked me dafuq out (really not cool) but I still felt her story was both enjoyable to learn and incredibly well written, and despite her pretty much being the main antagonist of the Delta Episode I hardly saw her as an enemy. It's easy to make a monster as the obstacle for a hero to overcome, but infinitesimally harder to make a human obstacle without resorting to "He/she is pure EEEEEVIL and all he/she does is EEEEEEVIL. Anyway, that's my opinion. Why do you think otherwise?

OKAY, so I have a bit to say about this. First of all, overall I have to praise your work here. It's solid for the most part, and has some of your best mastering yet which is something I know you've been working on, so mission success. Now let's get into the nitty-gritty stuff. A few times throughout the song, there is this legato string playing on a minor, that would have been REALLY stellar if it were complimented by one playing the same notes a few octaves up. The staccato strings were on point, so fantastic work there. Another issue I noticed was the layering of your sounds. I think the legato strings sounded a bit too similar to the accordion levelling wise, and I think it might have sounded a bit cleaner if you kept the strings as a bass sound and moved the accordion back up a bit. During the breaks, you had this absolute gorgeous piano that in my opinion was sort of drowned by a harpsichord and a harp (or pizzicato strings maybe?) and here again is an issue I think with the levelling. I was DYING for a piano solo, and it just didn't happen. I think it may have been improved if you went more hardcore with the piano, and then slowly add a staccato string to get the melody, but that may just be me. I was also a bit surprised by the repetition in your arrangement. I think it's just because it lacked a cool down period, but I missed the Courtney spin that I normally notice in your work. There's nothing wrong with that of course, but I just thought I'd point it out. Also, bro, where was the brass? Dunno if I just missed it, but that wouldn't have been out of place, especially with the dark strings you had going. So now that I've put all the stuff I didn't like on the table, let's talk about the positive. Your percussion was stunning. It sounded really realistic to me, so that impressed me straight off the bat. I loved the bassey legato and staccato strings throughout, and the accordion was a good choice of lead, and I felt like it evened out the strings nicely. Piano, as I pointed out earlier was on point. Bells, great; harp, great. I am still particularly taken by the dark vibe in your mix. It just has that killer bassey sound I mentioned earlier, and that's brilliant. Anyway, I'm done shouting my feelings. Love to chat sometime too, as a side note! Hope all is well.

Rolling this track again a couple days after I heard it first time it's only even better. It even strikes that nerve on the first few notes, the one that sends you back and gives you actually goosebumps. Hearing this first time also had that effect from hearing the theme in-game. I was actually surprised I remembered it and that it left an impact. But hey I loved Zinnia. Such a great character, so I guess it shouldn't be such a surprise. I both hope we see more of her later and also that we don't and that her journey is left a mystery.

If they do make a Delta Emerald (doubtful) i would hope they would make the game with you playing as Zinnia the protagonist. Still have you go through the game and get the badges, but instead of just admittance to the league, you're seeking for knowledge of the legendary Pokemon while infiltrating aqua/magma to get as close as you can, only to have a meddling trainer intervene. But in this case Zinnia is successful in beating him and gains Rayquaza's trust, allowing her to be the hero she sought out to be

I felt like this theme portrayed Zinnia finally getting an encounter with Rayquaza and she is racing side by side with it on her Salamence. When the song lightens up she is enjoying the experience after all the effort she has gone through to get to this stage. The song to me is a tale of Zinnia attempting to tame Rayquaza whilst determining if this is really what she should be doing as Rayquaza is a strong force of nature and should perhaps not be tamed. This results in an undying respect for the creature whether or not she does end up capturing it.

Zinnia was so kickass. A dragon master and her design is so freaking bawss. Like I want to go on and on about her, but pretty much all that needs to be said is that her personality was so likeable yet admirable. Almost like you were compelled to fight her. As if to fight her proved you could tame the dragon types. Beautiful.

I liked her. She had actual depth as a character and had variety in her sprite. She seemed calm and collected throughout the episode and then in the final battle she gets on all fours and stares at you like an animal.

Ahhhh, i remember my Omega Ruby save, it's from 2015, never restarted it. But I'm sad that I beaten the Delta Episode but it's was worth it for my level 100 Rayquaza. I'll always remember this game.
