If anybody doesn't know, they're based on Norse mythology: the tree is Yggsdrasil, the tree of life, the deer is based on the four stags who stand under it, and his antlers are the rainbow bridge Bifrost. Yveltal is the eagle that nests in the tree and is a harbinger of death. Zygarde is a dragon/snake that knaws at the roots if the tree and is envious of the other creatures at Yggsdrasil: hence the weaker stats.

Wait a minute... If Xerneas gives immortality, and you can't get sick, then you wouldn't be happy due to all of your things that you know would end eventually. Yveltal gives death and bacon. If you gorged yourself on bacon, then you'd probably die of a heart attack. But if you had all three, you could be immortal, and unable to get sick and die of a heart attack. Zygarde would balance out your bacon consumption, so the flavor never gets boring. So by this logic, I am now an immortal bacon eating god. *IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW.*

People ask which, Xerneas or Yveltal, is the stronger or better of the two. So they always seem to be on opposite sides of the battlefield. While Xerneas just plain wins 1v1 (which, lore wise, makes a ridiculous amount of sense and so does the fact that Yveltal can learn Steel Wing)...but I've found something different. When you put them together, especially in doubles for me...they become unstoppable. They learn moves that cover each other's weak spots and difficulties, and they make wonderful partners. When I ran them as a leading pair on Battle Spot I rarely needed the rest of my team, and even rarer did I lose. Why is this? Life and death are complements. Death cannot be without life and life is nothing without death, yet life must outpace death, or at some point there would be nothing living, as AZ proves so well. Thus, they pair magnificently, but Xerneas is always the strongest. Holy Crow.

@@primalreversion7034 Ultra Sun or Ultra Moon: Yeveltal and Xerneas (depending on which game you have) post-game or whenever you have access to the doing the ultra warp ride. Pokémon go: soon possibly as mega evolutions are now in the game. Maybe Sword/Shield: dlc content most likely. Other than that, you can trade up in Pokémon home. (But that process will take much longer and I don’t recommend)

Yes, I'm 5 years late. 2019 anyone? As a hunched-up kid in the car backseat, I played pokemon X all the way to my grandfather's house. AZ's story, my rival telling me about them keeping the legendary, it was all tense. I expected anything to happen at any minute. When I entered to containment unit, I was suprised. I felt sad for the legendary, and mad at Team Flare. This pokemon's energy wasn't theirs to use! When the cutscene played, I swear I had never felt more amazed. My god. This is it. I could feel Xerneas's power thrumming through my hands, the music started and the fairy ability went into effect. This was a pokemon with the ability to grant eternal life. I threw my masterball immediately. That moment felt special. But what to name her? I asked my dad and told him she could grant immortality. He shrugged. I ended up naming her "Immortalia." Then, Lysandre walked him. I remember thinking as he talked to me, "How dare you!" I fought as hard as I could, with xerneas by my side. This is why X and Y are my favorite games.

@@AlldaylongRock Shade, Radomus, Terra, and Amaria (Anna Route) are the hardest gyms IMO. Even with preparation and knowing that they're coming up they will still trash you, Field Replacement doesn't really help against Shade, is awkward to get off against Radomus, is a fucking juggle and a half to get up and keep it up with Terra (Grassy helps a lot though if you can get it), and it helps slightly more than during Shade with Amaria but not that much. Shelly, Aya, Samson, Charlotte, Ciel, Adrienn, Titania, and Saphira can all be troublesome if you don’t prepare for them, but if you know they’re coming and planned long in advance they can all be counterpicked easily. Florinia and Noel feel like fair fights, I don’t ever feel the need to specifically prepare for them but I still get an acceptable challenge out of their fights, coincidentally the two of them are two of my top favourite Reborn Characters. Julia and Serra are a bit of a crapshoot but that’s solely because of Julia being the First Gymleader so many of the limited Pokémon that are available to you have some sort of good use in her fight, rematching her for Hoopa Quest is a nightmare though. And Serra is just unfortunately saddled with the Ice Type and an easily exploitable Arena, but like Julia, she makes up for the difficulty with being in the Glass Workstation Onslaught. Luna and Hardy are a joke, I'm sorry. Fighting types are so plentiful and many of them are good Pokemon so you should have no shortage of them going in to fight Luna, and her Arena doesn’t do anything to stop that fact. And Hardy is, as discussed, a fucking anomaly, I genuinely cannot fathom how he placed higher than Amaria considering her Doubles Team opens with two Water Absorb Surf Sweepers. He is by a mile and a half, the worst Reborn Gym Leader, and his puzzle is dogshit too.

I have to admit, during my first time fighting Xerneas, it was truly MAJESTIC as hell. I love the music from these games because it shows how much effort and feeling they put into the game and story. I felt like I was literally trying to convince it to help me save the world from destruction. It was MAGICAL. The scene and music before and during the credit sequence made me actually cry. I've NEVER had a game make me cry from happiness before. EVER. That story tugged my heartstrings.

The cool thing about GlitchxCity's remixes as opposed to others', is that I never get bored while listening to them. Don't get me wrong, there are other great remixers (?) out there, but I love how Glitch switches it up throughout the whole thing, instead of, when reaching a certain point, just replaying a part you heard earlier, not remixing it any different. Once the song repeats I keep listening for the differences from the first repeat, and you can often catch melodies from other games, or even game series'. That's the best!

Xerneas is the BEING of life. Without him, all Pokemon wouldn't be alive (duh). He's the reason we're able to live and enjoy ourselves, and he's a unique legendary with a nice pure Fairy typing. Yveltal CONTROLS death and destruction. Without him, all life in the Pokemon universe wouldn't end, thus causing a mass catastrophe (no more space). Torture would be endless (no way out) and we'd grow bored of everything. Dark/Flying is a pretty cool typing, and even with quite a few weaknesses, it can make up for it with its resistances/immunities. Zygarde is, ehm, what's Zygarde again? I like how the Pokemon fandom has a replacement for the the word god, which is Arceus btw for example for god's sake becomes for Arceus' Sake. It's like every fandom has one now (sometimes there even canon in the franchise). So lets think, pokemon has arceus, mlp has celestia (don't know if this counts but I guess it does) or luna (join the night side please everyone/dragon/pony/living being), Adventure time has glob and minecraft has notch (not many minecraftians actually use it though). The energy within Flare's cursed chamber suddenly skyrockets to unbearable heat, but yet it doesn't harm you, one bit. The tree that stands on top of the machine suddenly starts moving, as the power around you goes dark and sirens Blair. A pink domes surronds the tree as plants, fungus, and nature start forming and creeping in the chamber, as a figure bigger then any pokemon you seen before emerges from the dome. The figure lets out a roar as the place around you turns into that of a forest, the machine breaking apart. The figure stands right in front of you, body glowing as an X stands behind it. My first battle with xerneas is very nostalgic to me, since X and Y were my first ever pokemon games, and I had never even fought a legendary, didn't even know what one was, so encountering this thing and trying to catch it with the God teir music blasting in the background genuinely made me feel like id was fighting a god of some sort

Yveltal CONTROLS DEATH , he can make other legendaries die off with his death powers , while Xerneas gives live to others... life and death is really a powerful combo... so the rank order Arceus --> Xerneas/ Yveltal/ Zygarde--> Palkia/ dialga/celebi --> groudon/kyogre/ray -->zapdos/moltres/artic/raikou/entei/suicune --> Zekrom/reshiram/kyurem
