What is really confusing is that at the very end of Glitter Force Doki Doki, you see human Kippy and she is even called Kippy, even though they skip the episode were they introduced the human forms of the pixies.

I found this adaptation or "americanization" insulting to me, cause Doki Doki Precure is one of my most favorite Precure to date. It pains that this is what people will see of Precure now, unless of course they know of the original. Speaking of themes of light and darkness that was changed from Doki Doki, do you know what the story theme of Kirakira is now? Light vs Darkness, no kidding, it was from an interview with one of the creators. As a matter of fact, most of the faults from Glitter Force Doki Doki can be seen in Kirakira Precure, I guess Toei really did have something to do with the "americanization" of Doki Doki Precure. Also, I am looking forward to your list of top 10 Precure's insert song, I am going to take a bet and say the ones from the original Futari wa Precure gets the top spot.

Well, this is not an insult to me, like at all, and I am glad to know glitter force this way, and tou can't let me think otherwise. In others words, I am fine without knowing the original, and I think I don't want to, because I want to know like how I already am cool with it. Glitter Force Doki Doki is already a great show by itself, and I don't want to think about what could have had more to it, which it was fine without needed, and one of my favorite animes, that you simplu can't excpect more off, and are fine without it, because that's the way it is, and it makes sense by itself, and I am sure to a lot more people. Really in my opinion, seeing that this show is being an insult, strongly like that, is an insult already. Because it also gives good messages, and whether you think it could have given more of it, or not, it is still a nice message already. And don't blame other people who think of precure as glitter force, or mentions it that way in the japanese version, because they are the same show, so they are correct, like me for example, who wants to know it like it is, and don't need to be budged to the original. You basically saying that, is like an insult the ones that really worked the best for the bub/adaptation and fans like me.

I met doki doki precure through glitter force, after a while I found out they had cut eps and went after the full anime. Simply an insult, they cut the funniest eps, they cut IMPORTANT eps for the story, like the karuta one for Rikka where they get the blue ruby, They changed lines, left things meaningless, they just cut the BLOOD RINGS antagonists just disappear at a certain moment for no reason at all. Deplorable.

They cut episode 44, they cut episode 44... ... Why!? Literally that episode did so much for Mana when it comes to characterisation, with it showing that Mana's able to do what she does because Rikka's always there to support her. Well unless they didn't adapt over the character trait of Mana being willing to help everyone, cause if they didn't ignore me, cause I happen to be someone who ships Mana with Rikka, so I am heavily biased towards that episode. Although I wonder why they cut so many of Aguri's episodes, but kept the Rikka/Ira episode, when effectively that sub plot amounted to nothing, so why keep that, but cut the episode's that give Aguri character development.

At 2:53, I kind of agree with you on Todd Haberhorn. That’s also a similar problem with Debi Derryberry. Although, Todd did gave Pop the most offense voice for a responsible older brother-like character since I, my older brother, and not one young adult I know talk like they’re nasally congested. The Pretty Cure series should’ve been dubbed by Viz Media because accurately translating foreign shows are a way to respect the original and knowing there are cultures that exist outside the country of where the dub is shown. Kids I know do understand European and Japanese culture and tradition. Keep in mind, translating foreign shows rather than chopping down the shows does not turn audiences and kids into international-philiacs. It’s not like they’re shoving them into the viewers’ faces. I can see why Precure fans consider the Saban Brands’ dub is similar to 4Kids, and DiC/Cloverway.

Saban is basically the LA version of 4kids. They needlessly cut out so much content and make horrible edits. They shouldo left the source material alone. Now pretty cute is owned by Hasbro and I hope they do a better job.

I was introduced to Glitter force by a friend and so i watched both series, and i LOVED it. I thought it was original, and such. I liked I think Rikka (At the time I HATED pink) I found out about pretty cure by google searching Maya x Regina and saw Mana x Regina, I thought it was a spelling mistake, and then looked at the keyboard, n and y aren't anyway near each other. That's when i realized pretty cure was a thing, and for a year i was using their Japanese names without realizing that they took out so many episodes. www.thewatchcartoononline.tv/ came in handy and had ddp on there. I started to watch it thats when i realized that they took out 13 episodes. (or 19 cause they got rid of the karuta ep. and called it SPELLING BEE cause it had the crystal in there. I re watched the episodes of glitter force doki doki and well Mana sounds like jimmy neutron now haha.

Well first of all Regina's friends especially manna would be heartbroken. Ace would probably also be in tears because Regina was technically her sister and killing your own blood relative is not something that anyone would be willing to do. Regina is good but was brainwashed by her father. However her father really does care for her as he sacrificed his life to save her. Well Ann but you get it.

I really don’t think budget is why they changed all this. Half of it was culture and what is considered what they perfer to show. Also, in general, prettycure seems to have a somewhat broader audience while glitterforce is clearly intended for young YOUNG kids.

Having Glitter Force Smile chopped into two 20 episode portions made sense when they were originally trying to pitch this show to Nickelodeon (who have a bass-ackwards policy of only 20 episodes per season). But they *knew* that Doki Doki was gonna be on Netflix, so obviously this was just a case of them not caring and wanting to put as little money into this as possible to satisfy contractual obligations.

There are lots of sites, but pretty much all of them have very lewd ads with naked or barely clothed women. Even with AdBlock, few of these sites can be freed of them. I like to use animesim.com. It has lots of players, but I stick with “mp4”, “yoru”, and “wtfplayer”. I hope this helps!

It appears to have been be deleted so I can't check, but I recall his 20 or so minute review being pretty comprehensive, just because its different to his other reviews doesn't make it any less a review of the entire show. And while yes his coverage of Kirakira is episodic, which I feel will probably result in a single video in a final thought-esque style review after it concludes, I was just pointing out that he's covered seasons on both sides of Mahou. If he wanted an excuse to just do it out of order he has more than enough precedent. I was just voicing my interest in that particular series over his planned content.

Aside from all the cutting of all the important episodes I personally like glitter force doki doki more than the original, I like the voices except glitter clover va ,from the writing it's better than smile glitter force ,the edits which laughable at times in season 1 was fine season 2 however I will admit was ugly but something I wont ignore is that when text show up they actually edit them to English but something I wont ignore is that the darkening in scenes were not as bad as glitter force were but is still bad and it doesn't help that the original already darkened some of the flashy scenes ,for the music in short the original music were fine not the best but it was fine for the reused music...yea no they only fit once and everything else the reused music was shit, in short i love doki doki glitter force more than its pretty cure version as in the pretty cure version i was bored and felt forced to watch it to catch up to kira kira and personally i felt like glitter force doki doki did a better job at dialing down how annoying ace and mana could be at times in the original and other minor problems i had with doki doki precure but personally if glitter force continues with happiness charge pretty cure theirs something i do want toei to fix 1.stop darkening scene i dident understand it in smile and i still dont in doki if Japanese viewers can watch the original without a seizure than im sure its OK elsewhere 2.use actual pretty cure music since there worth having and are more better than any glitter force music with a few exception 3.stop limiting yourselves there on Netflix not on Nickelodeon there shouldent be any reason to remove any episodes and if budget is the problem then either toei should assist or give glitter force to somebody else ,they did better at not cutting or Americanizing anything Japanese in doki doki so there at least slowly getting it 4.i want merchandise for a series thats point is to sell toys im surprised there isn't at least 1 merchandise around with the glitter force brand and for someone who started with smile glitter force i am willing to buy any glitter force merchandise 5.dub the precure movies i kinds of understood it with smile precure but with doki doki i actually would have loved if they dub the movie. if toei did all that i listed im sure glitter force would get more praise as a precure dub instead of some who claim glitter force as a 4kids version (which i would argue if 4kids handled pretty cure it would be worse ) but who knows maby the issues will get fixed if glitter force continues

Who else be like, soooo it’s normal for normal girls that are the glitter force to have unnatural coloured hair and pink purple and orange eyes, but Regina is a magical princes off darkness or something and has to be the only one with natural blonde hair and blue eyes. Well Regina with red eyes is fine. But I prefer her blue eyes. Fun fact when I first watched a clip of Dokidoki precure with Regina I didn't even realize she was the precures enemy. She just looked like one of those badass girls who was secretly a softy. But Regina in the English dub is voiced by the same voice actor who does trixx in Miraculous tales of ladybug and cat noir! Which is awesome!

SMILE is just is bad and Futari wa while it didn't SKIP any episodes a English dub that ONLY aired in Canada it still FAILED as one that's why as of THIS year the OTHER 17 Precure Seasons don't have ANY ENGLISH DUB and likely will NEVER GET ONE EVER.

to me the first season glitter Force Doki-Doki was pretty good, but the second season was okay... but it was pretty crappy. I think that smile was the perfect season to make the first glitter Force

they don't show episode 40 because they see it as too gay, and Japanese culture because the .hero of the show look white never mind the mess in Power Rangers Samuria

you may be right giving that they show them in bed together.But showing a girl singing a love song to another girl with so much passion may had scare a lot of people at Saban not to show it giving the fact Cure Sword don't have a boyfriend in the show .
