Wow, they turned out great, Excellent job. Napkins can be super unpredictable. I do know the better the quality of the napkin the better the results with applying a coating to them. I’ve never directly put resin on them without a protective covering first. This is fantastic. Thanks ❤

Hi Michelle Yes you can decopage with napkins,you have to take off all layers of the napkins until you have just the top layer..Then you can do your decopage..😊

They look amazing! 😍 love them! I’ve used napkins in many projects but not in resin yet. I usually take the napkin layers apart and only use the top layer as sometimes there can get trapped bubbles. But the way you did it was perfect with the resin being tacky and waiting to do the top coat was a great way to do it.

Wow, they turned out GREAT. In watching a lot of videos, a lot of them say that you must seal paper before you use it in resin, but you used a napkin without anything. I LOVE this!!!!!!! I cover them with “plastic plate covers” when it’s not in the curing machine. If you don’t have the machine de mold. 24 hours later with a 1:1 resin.

Thanks! This house was built by my parents in 2002. When they decided to downsize in the town next door I had to have the house. We did totally re do the home to look like a cabin one room at a time. We may live in SW FL but it feels like a cabin in the woods for us. My husband did all the work, his baby was that bathroom. I love it so much! Thanks for asking!

The metallic mica works the best, other than chameleon powders, the rest will come out dull.

Those are beautiful!! And for those that have other paper crafts they do, and have a HUGE selection of papers, napkins, etc...these would be so "easy". Also a great way to start with resin, inexpensively. Not having to buy all the coloring materials, etc.

I have ideas of creating smaller resin butterflies (or animals etc) into a larger one. For instance, using a larger bird and putting smaller resin birds inside of it. Make sense? I need to try it soon :)

Welcome to my channel!! I have never tried that much UV resin before. It's def. for beginners. I'd say try one and see how it goes but cost wise I would use epoxy.

Those didn’t have a second layer. Also, I did a video keeping on the second layer just to see what would happen and they turned out perfect! So I’m not sure that step is necessary 🤷‍♀️😊

It’s a machine that has a blower and heater to speed up the curing process. Some people even use dehydrators!

I have not put mod podge on any napkins in resin, I tried to seal it once and it ripped apart my napkin. This was a one ply napkin.
