There is a FLERF version, entitled "Skoi Floit for Poilits." It is loose-leaf, with lots of blank pages for notes. There is a colouring-in section, a pop-up cardboard dome and a cut-out-and-paste junior sextant (instructions not provided). At the back is a useful selection of prayers. Chapters include : 1. No such ting as a horizon. 2. If there is a horizon, its not where you think it is. 3. There is no pressure gradient : open those windows! 4. How to spot the sun inside the clouds. 5. Avoiding low flying 'satellites' 6. Ignore Instruments, they are not 'natural' : how to switch off annoying alarm systems. 7. Coriolanus : dis is Shakespeare, ignore it.

I notice the illustrator did not manage to resist the temptation to show the star in the diagram of the circles of equal altitude. As soon as you put the star in the view with a visible Earth the diagram is so distorted from reality that it is merely trying to get the idea across rather than be a representation of reality. We have seen what they did with the triangle diagram. Flat Earthers seem to need a note on the diagram saying "Not drawn to scale" or they assume it is showing "reality".

It is clear that Flat Earthers have astonishingly poor analysis skills. These Flat Earthers are so confident that their unsubstantiated assertions constitute a 'gotcha' that they don't even expect their claims to be proven invalid by peer review. But, as demonstrated by Wolfie, Flat Earthers have grossly overestimated their abilities to present incontrovertible supporting evidence.

@@randyjordan5521 It is quite clear that Flat Earthers are determined to reject any evidence that contradicts their preferred beliefs, in exactly the same way that religious groups do. Just as a point of interest, since you mentioned the Azimuthal Equidistant map, that some flerfs treat as their representation of reality, specifically the Gleason map, it is just one of an infinite number of versions of an AE map that you can find online. If you search for, "Azimuthal Map, Anywhere", you'll find a page with an Azimuthal Equidistant map, that can be manipulated in real time, such that any point on Earth can be placed as the center point, with all the land masses morphing into their resulting shapes and relative positions. Interesting to note how these equally accurate variations, can seem to show every type of topography, as well as every body of water as the edge of these equally valid maps. Can't wait for the flerfs to start talking about the Saharan sand wall, lol.

There are websites that can generate a pdf EA map to order, based on any specified location. One I have used is maintained by a radio ham. Why should radio hams care? Because an under-appreciated property of AE maps is that a straight line from the centre to any other point is the great circle route to that point. So it tells them the azimuth they need to point a directional antenna if they are trying to get a signal from a specific location. Propagation of radio waves, seismic waves, the atmospheric shock wave of the Tonga volcano - all confirm the globe.

At this point we'd have 2 levels of denial: 1# ok ok, pilots are taught based on a globe but there's a trick that we can't find yet and the earth is flat. 2# we don't care, pilots are taught based on flat Earth and the earth is flat 🤣

I say no time can be given because they wont, they'll just ignore it like they often do with a lot of other things. Or someone will get it, read it but never acknowledge that they did so . Just like how they like to bring up old outdated Military Sniper Field Manuals but ignore Artillery Field Manuals because one talks about curvature and adjusting for Coriolis and such where as the other doesn't and when you explain why the Sniper Field Manuals don't even though those things do effect long range shots, they just ignore and / or disappear from the conversation because they know they don't have a leg to stand on in the conversation.
