9:26 while true after the Sinnoh Tour ends, the cost of the adventure affects are essentially halved as a bonus for which version you choose during Sinnoh Tour. So the example Daxi gave with spending 30,000 stardust and 30 Palkia candies should only be 15,000 stardust and 15 Palkia candies per hour during the Sinnoh Tour if you chose the Pearl Version.

I wish the deals on the pokemongo website was cheaper. You would think Niantic would make them cheaper because 1. Not a lot of players are even aware that you can get stuff for the game on there. I didn't until like 2 months ago haha 2. Niantic should want people buying directly from them because otherwise Apple/Google will take like a 30% cut on every purchase so you would think they would go much lower than they do. They would actually make more money by selling the items/boxes/bundles etc for a lot cheaper since they get 100% of it But...sure... once in awhile they toss in a little something extra but overall the deals aren't all that great. So they don't get my money because I just use my Google reward points or whatever it's called and use that for pokemon go

I'm choosing Pearl as a player who lives in a rural area with only 1 gym near me, I'd rather have double distance for spotlights and community days because it's brings up my chances of finding perfect IV's, shinies, and pvp IV's. Gonna try to grind for the legendaries in pvp rewards

Been looking forward to this video. As a OG, rural player, last global go fest I finally got myself up to my nearest city where I found a discord group and joined in with the event and it was well worth it. Because I struggle to interact with people and being in public places, it was a real challenge at the time. I really want to push myself up there again this Saturday for the event but I feel like im a low point right now with confidence and self-esteem so it'll be a struggle but I think I need to push myself up there again and it'll be for the best mentally for confidence and for the in game rewards. I hope I can't do it, otherwise I won't be completing many raids at all, and the shiny Dialga is a real incentive

Clearing eggs and then not spinning pokestops or opening gifts from friends is hard. I rely on those for balls. Instead it might be more realistic to fill up with 2km eggs. Then you can knock them out on the day and fill with new eggs

Don’t forget if you use Roar of Time, Daily Incense will NOT spawn Unowns but regular incense will, and White Striped Basculin is available only on routes and has its debut accompanied with shiny forme.

I'm really excited to get a palkia with spacial rend so I can do community days from my living room if it's raining as there's 2 stops I can spin but can't get all the spawns from so with the extended range I can lure those and get all the spawns

However, there is a likelihood that spacial rend may work with pogo plus+ and that's when I see the ability really come into effect.

Thank you Daxi for confirming this for me. Yes, even though the Origin Forms are better than the Altered Forms, they both still don’t hold a CANDLE to Mega Rayquaza. I’ll just be raiding the Origin Forma for the Adventure Effects and leave it at that. (If Niantic decides to do an event where you can Elite TM the two Legacy Moves onto the two Origin Forms, then I may consider doing it if for some reason I have one or two that has good IVs for them.)

On the topic of eggs, hatch all your highest distance eggs ASAP so that way you’ll hopefully only have 2k eggs as the event approaches. Also, make sure your phone and auto catcher are charged and ready to go AND have a power pack and charging cord for your phone because your phone WILL die if you play the entire event.

I'm excited for the Sinnoh Tour. I'm surprised that they didn't release Arceus, Manaphy and Phione since the other tours made completing the regional Pokedex medals possible, but I guess that they're saving them for another event, possibly for Go Fest this year. Getting the paid timed research for eggs is especially helpful for extra encounters with the regional Pokemon. I'm hopeful that I'll be able to get a good amount of 10km eggs. While I don't like locking regional Pokemon behind eggs like this, I had surprising good luck with them for the Hoenn Tour last year, so hopefully I'll have some good luck for them this year.

I thought so too at first, but it costs 5000 dust to activate, which means if you’re doing it to extend something like a star piece, you need to earn 10,000 dust to have earned that 5,000 back (since star piece is 1.5x) in the 10 min extension, just to break even. It’s just not worth it unfortunately :(

Just one tip i suggest not to follow is to pop 8 incenses/lucky egg and starpiece at the begining of the event...because lot of time u will have in the long event quest "use one incense" and if your are full itme boost you won't want or be allowed to use one more item. My luck today was insane! Caught my first shundo (a Stunky), Purified Hundo Gible, Traded in a Lucky Hundo Turtwig, 2 shiny origin Palkia, 1 shiny origin Dialga and an Origin Giratina from 1st round of GBL,and hit Lucky friends for the 2nd time ever with a trainer. All this within approx 250 catches/encounters/trades. Huge huge Huuuge W. 😄

22:57 I disagree on the incense. Sometimes the special researches from this kind of event require you to "Use an Incense" (the LA research did) and then you end up having to waste an incense to finish that task. I would instead try to stay 1 hour ahead, that way you have the safety net in case you forget but can still use the incense to finish the task if needed. Also, if you have the Diamond badge, the LA research required trainers to "Use Roar of Time," so maybe you don't pop all your Lucky Eggs and starpieces so you can just use roar of time for a little instead

I find myself in an interesting position today. With yesterday’s capture of Cresselia, Mesprit, Uxie and Azelf, and evolutions of Runerigus and Solgaleo, my Pokedex Completion is 800 Caught and 812 Seen. Of the 842 presently available in the game, I am only missing 42. Of those, 17 are legendaries or mythicals that must be acquired through raids, 11 are regional exclusives at might be best acquired through trades (or future tour events), and 14 to be acquired through evolution. I currently have the ability to complete 11 of those evolutions, and must flip a coin for the 12th. You see, I have only ever been able to catch one Clamperl. Which means I can only obtain one or the other of Huntail or Gorebyss. If it weren’t for Clamperl, I would have no other Pokémon to capture in the wild. If I had a second Clamperl and the odds were in my favour, I would evolve both Huntail and Gorebyss, obtaining the 13th evolution. The 14th is Salazzle. I’ve hatched dozens of 12km eggs lately, and only managed to hatch one Salandit. It was of course a male. So to officially catch all 842 presently available Pokémon, I need to Raid 17, Trade 11, Evolve 14 plus Hatch 1 and Catch 1. Well, hatch 2 if you count Mime Jr. Which I will be this weekend. After that Giratina, I’ll be done what is presently available for Sinnoh, and just waiting for Arceus, Phione and Manaphy.

I will probably do the method of one hour for spawns and one for the raids to get Palkia and Dialga in the origin form, though it will be annoying cause I barely know people who also play and have doubts someone will play as well as have luck with raids and not have people leaving the raid chat 5 seconds after joining (LOOKING AT YOU POKERAID). I will definitely try to get some hundos for the mega's I'm missing and HOPE i finally find myself a shiny Skorupi, since that's my fav shiny. ALSO, with the recent Road to Sinnoh event, I have been just grinding those eggs, cause now not even 2 days in and near the limit of my storage and 300+ total pokeballs. I got almost 300 coins, but I'm not getting any storage unless necessary, as well as having 100 extra in case I need a last resort premium pass.

Stardust is just to valuable. Both effects don’t approach value in my mind. I’d rather just buy the items like star fragments. I think you’d have to be pretty desperate to use Roar of Time for a less than 1% shot of catching any Galarian birds that still are rare spawns/eggs and cross the street for more spawns.

I think Roar of Time is definitely the better one. Being able to stack all those items (star piece, lucky egg, etc) for longer is HUGE. What do you mean, you can just buy more premium items? For 5 candy, you're saving money & are using those items effects longer. You're too focused on the Galarian birds. Being able to gain more stardust, XP, etc in the game is fantastic. The spawn circle while using Special Rend being a tad bigger is nice, but nowhere near as beneficial as Roar of Time. Glad they're both in the game.

Only beneficial if you use eggs and premium items often. I only play during events and shiny hunt. So spacial rend is good for me. Roar of of time isn’t “better”. It’s just preference on the time Of gameplay you do

@@CrossBouJgood point, I picked Dialga but palkias effect rubs for 4 more minutes than dialgas iirc and for Dialga, an extra 6min for 5000 stardust and 5 candies is not rly saving much only rly good for the birds but play style is everything

Niantic needs to add a way to know what pokemon you've beat in raids... If it's in your dex already and don't raid it, it still show up normal on the radar

PLEASE NOTE: You are NOT breaking even by obtaining 30,000 dust with palkia for one hour. You would need to make at least 60,000 dust to break even, as you would have made 30,000 dust anyway. If you only make 30,000 dust, all you did was lose the 30 candy its costs as you break even on dust. Since you make 30k dust and use 0 candy without the effect, you need 60,000 dust with the effect to actually profit.

imo roar of time is better not because of daily incense but because youre pausing star pieces lucky eggs and incenses of any kind. so basically you can keep your extra 50% stardust double xp and keep getting extra pokemon from incense while spacial rend is really not worth it. I can just walk to the spaces that spacial rend is hitting and still get the same pokemon. I actually catch more pokemon from roar of time because again the incense gives EXTRA spawns, where spacial rend just shows me pokemon that i will eventually reach just by walking. The total stardust xp and pokeon caught is higher with roar of time.

I think dialga time stop power can be a decent stardust farming method since itll extend the star piece timers. Although im not sure on the math whether if its efficient for the cost so i could be very wrong Edit: this would be for the more F2P friendly players that is since people can just buy more star pieces if they have the spare change since it is just a dollar
