It also has a push-down reverse lever and a rotary stitch length adjuster. Also, built into the top of this machine is a presser foot height adjuster. This allows you to select the height of the presser foot, based on the material you sew. For example, if you are only sewing one layer, you can set it low, and if it's multiple layers, you can set the presser foot higher, this allows you versatility on the number of materials you can sew. It is located on the balance wheel and can be adjusted using the main electronic box. It gives the operator the option of having the needle either raised in the utmost position or the lowest position possible. Most sewers prefer to have it in the lowest position as this allows you to quickly move your material without needing to move the balance wheel. Then, when you are done sewing with a material, you can use the heel of your foot to press down on the pedal and it will raise the needle.
