Having lived in both the countries for 4 years, it’s indeed a moot point to determine which is a better location. I’d prefer the UK for regional Indian cuisines, travel time to India, travel to other EU nations, better weather, world class universities, and financial institutions (jobs and banking). Canada, on the other hand, has ample opportunities to gain permanent residency, latest cars/laptops/phones (much cheaper than UK) at awesome prices, proximity to the US(that’s a big deal indeed), plentiful tech jobs (not astronomical salaries like America though), opportunities to relocate to America, and a breathtaking landscape (UK also has to an extent).

1)Since you have pointed on Sudbury regarding part time job I would like to clear that Sudbury is high potential city and if you are strong in English no problem in finding part jobs. If you are taking trade then best place to make money. 2) I know people who have masters from UK coming to Canada and is almost impossible to find a desired job. What I’m trying to say is if you want to work in Canada then employer prefers Canadian education over education from other countries. 3) Living expense depends on how you spend and how good you are with money. 4) when spent huge some of money then it should have fruitful result in this case PR. In UK it still hard to make it but in Canada it is easy get PR. 5) In Canada with 5years one could settle well it good house, car and other necessaries. 6 The Canadian Heath care is best compare to UK. 7) Ease of doing business for immigrants are better in Canada.

Tax rates are almost the same in UK and Canada. In UK you have to pay NI and Local council tax other than IT.

Don't compare UK and Canada.. If u r looking PR then Canada is the best if u r looking part time jobs only then UK is the best ..UK Masters is valid worldwide unlike Canada pg diplomas . Canada 3 yrs stay back for 2 yr or ( 1 +1) courses .UK 2 yr stay back plus guaranteed come back😄😁😃 The competition of Canada is with Sweden ( now trending for Engineering) , NZ ,best for tourism and Australia ( accounting, social work) UK competitors are Ireland and France Other low HDI countries are Eastern European countries which are of no use to go. UK has about 200 universities and lakhs of students coming down each year and there are no Engineering companies in these countries like in Germany or Sweden to accommodate these people with proper jobs..they always go for part timers on half the payment. Canada admission cut of is difficult due to arrears and ielts plus age gap . But still its the best for non engineering programs. Sweden has no such limitations but needs mostly engineering 4 yr degrees and PR is easy in Schengen during to high per capita income and less population and large size.. Even if all these countries are there USA is still the number one but visa is too difficult for usual students to good universities...

My opinion If you are looking for quality education.. choose university carefully in UK. UK is way too good in High profile jobs like IT fields and Health its IT industry is growing 2.7% than its economy I am talking about IT fields. Soon or later UK is gonna be a IT hub .. So even low ranked university have Good IT Teams for hiring jobs and all... My opinion is Study in UK try to get a Job there.. if you have sufficient experience from that job you can directly apply for PR in canada so dont worry even its UK or Canada.. every country got their ups and downs ... Hi, I’m on tier 2 visa now and waiting to complete 5 years to apply for ILR. From my experience I never suggest to anyone to come here as Student, it’s really really hard to find a job with a sponsor also we need to wait till 5 years. I don’t know how to explain the tension we gone through and still going on.
