Why Mr. Viswa Sadavisan turned a blind eye to the 34 million Chinese casualties and millions more displaced by the Japanese from the initial invasion of the Northern provinces to the end of WW II in China, or for that matter as a comparison to the so-called Tibet problem, the disappearance of millions of native Indians in NA? Agree that Viswa, should have that covered. Than again, once can't possibly cover all angles and how his researchers are covering the angles to provide him with enough talking points and discusison.

3 years ago, Viswa was embroiled in a sexual harassment allegations. On 4 Feb 2021, Singaporean comedian Sharul Channa shared on fb that an "inappropriate and offensive" innuendo was made during an interview for an online series Inconvenient Questions by Viswa, who was the interrviewer. Viswa apologised on the same day after Sharul had reached out to his producer about eh sexual innuendo after the show. Thereafter, doctoral researcher Kiran Kandade shared screenshots of WhatsApp conversation between her and Viswa in 2016, of which he had asked he for a kiss. Professor Kishore gave very subtle answers to challenging questions from the interviewer who seemed to be more pro west. Kishore's wisdom and experience as a seasoned diplomat shine from the interviews he gave and books he wrote.

I actually was on the side of Professor Mahbubani with regard to his 2017 article. As a small country, we should be prudent in how we use our limited diplomatic ammunition. We should use it discreetly and decisively not recklessly, We have to be smart in picking our battles. The fact remains is that we are a small country. I am not a fan of Bilahari.

kishore tries to remind the gov that LKY and the old guards are pragmatist and don't go harping on ideologies because that won't help Singapore navigate between the great powers in the world... bilahari was very cocky because he was in that ambassador position... he's trying hard to defend the stance of the gov even when we got into trouble by tilting too much to the western stance...

That's 11 dash line. Drew by ROC with help from US at the time. US donated military vessels to ROC to take control of whole S.C.Sea. The host is an ignorant and discriminative idiot!

That is right. The original 11 dashed lines were drawn by Republic of China to show its marine territory with the request and assistence from USA, which provided the ships for the survey.

Great respect to Prof Mahbubani, but cannot agree on his view this time that China's nine dashed lines are illegal because they undermine the UNCLOS (which came into effect much later). Not necessarily in favour of China's claims but think the logic seems problematic. For example, should the Western colonial powers give up all their occupied land and interests because the occupation undermines UN Charter?

The 9 dashed lines(previosly 11 dashed lines)were accepted, even by the Western powers which controlled the region, with no objection from any country, when China delinated its marine territory for the world to know. Most people were ignonant about this history.

Read the 11 dash line of the republic of China consitition of 1947. US did not protest at that time because the nationalist government of China was an ally of US at that time.

当主持人在根本没有做过调查，甚至都没读过教授著作的前提下，他就先入为主的说那本免费书籍阅读量最大的是中国读者。当教授公布事实情况时，他明显慌了，急忙转移话题。每一个问题，都在教授即将展开发言时，他又立即将话题转移到下一个，并再一次的试图给教授设置陷阱。

新加坡立國政策之一為壯大亞洲人主義。新加坡從殖民統治下翻身獨立出來，勢不可能脫亞入歐美陣營。新加坡人經歷了弱小國家可以壯大並與東協國家和平共存，平起平坐，也不依賴美國而欣欣向榮。

@@ibelievemoneygrowsontrees5041 大概按时间来说，先画的九段线，之后陆续菲律宾越南马来西亚独立，再之后才有的国际海洋公约。另外马凯硕直接混用了不合法和非法/违法。当然这个问题本身可能只有10%算是法律问题，90%都是政治问题。说不合法的那个法，美国也都没加入呢
