BUT AFTER WATCHING THIS VIDEO I HAVE FINALLY UNDERSTAND THE GREAT PART ABOUT USING THIS TOOL . I AM GOING TO BE ORDERING ONE OF THESE CAN TESTERS THIS WEEK . THANKS FOR ALL THE SUPER INNOVATIONS YOUR COMING OUT WITH AND PLEASE KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK !

Great diagnosis you stuck with it and yes I've encountered this before on a school bus back up light's when you push the test light on the fuse it would connect either side but it was blown 😂

Yes, I experience a situation something like this, oh yes, I remember, Global Commerce sent me on the job recently and the blinkers was not working in the front of the vehicle. (2021 Ra4) I found the left front bulb was bad immediately, So I took the right front bulb which (looks good)👀 out and installed it on the left front side and it did not work, so I powered that bulb with my 12 volt power probe and the bulb came on, So I pulled up the Alldata diagram and Found the ground and the power wires. I checked the ground which was OK. I checked the power it’s OK, scratching my head and then I called Global Commerce, he tells me to the check the ground which was a black and white color wire. I go back and check it again. (Maybe I did something wrong, I said to myself). So I checked them again and all the grounds was OK. So I told Global Commerce to let me get back to him, because I need to go deeper. Found out that, that bulb was bad too. I’ve believed that bulb had high resistance, but it didn’t look bad and it lit up when I power it. so finally the owner brings me parts, I replace the blown bulb with a new one on the left front side and it started blinking, the owner freaked out because he thought the bulb I was working on was a parking light, so I put the other bulb in the right front side and it also started blinking. It’s fixed! go figure. l called Global Commerce and he was like (No way Man) and we laughed at the situation,. The other Mechanic took the front bumper and headlights off and could not find the problem because he was working on the wrong light system. There was no problem with the system. It was the wrong bulb or the bulb resistance was too high to work on the vehicle. Sometimes the simplest job can throw you in a loop, and by the way I just graduated from Global Commerce about a week ago. Global Commerce made a video of my graduation from a class I took from him. Check it out! Im a Global Commerce prodigy, Class of 2024. 😂😂😂😂

When you did the test light on fuse, first pin was brighter then the second pin. Anyway I’ve seen this before. Good diag.

Yes i noticed reviewing the video.. i however didn't notice in person.. maybe it shows up better on camera..

Hey, great Diag on that job. I used your can bus device before it saved me tons of headaches. I was just wondering when you're going to set up some online classes. I would like to get more knowledgeable as an auto electrician it coincides with me being an automotive locksmith as many people misdiagnosed a key issue.

Seen the same thing several times. My favorite was the shop that replaced PCM due to trans solenoid DTCs. I found a 4 volt drop across the transmission / rear O2 heater fuse with key on. "But Identifix said to replace PCM!"

I have seen that before! Them fuses can fool u.

Seen this before, voltage feedback through the ECM. It's a ford thing. Full battery voltage on one side and low on the other, blown fuse. I use a voltmeter instead of a test light checking the fuses on these. I had one that got towed from one shop to another for over a year. Had it running in 15 min.

Maybe in this situation you need more powerfull test probe which can take about 1amp current, it will show you almost blowen fuses😮
@15066bas6 ай бұрын
@@equilibrusman Those will feed back voltage from another circuit internally in the ECM. After I run into this a channel, I follow had a vid labeled , when is a fuse not blown. They found the same thing, B+ on one side and a lower voltage on the other. The Escape with a full charge on the battery will show about 6 volt on the fuse powered circuit with a blown fuse.

Hold up did you design that tool? Is it using a Milwaukee battery? If so you're on a whole other level. I knew you were good but damn
@globalcommerce76547 ай бұрын
Hi, yes I'm also an investor, all my design and compatible with milwaukee m12 battery, thanks

I know a lot of Ford Focus and Fiesta if it is a no-start and I don't hear TCM engaging and making weird noises I already knew the clutch was keeping it from starting. I don't know how they made such a terrible design for so long.

Yes, ive owned and sold over 500 of these cars and would agree its not the best design, i will say the manual transmission version of this car is bulletproof!

Genius, creating a piece of test equipment that can be used to test the can bus external of the interior of the vehicle. I would have been using a multimeter which can be cumbersome even though being small. Viewing angle when probing with safety pins and alligator clips and trying not to accidentally ground the B+, wat a nuisance
