The blue Cannondale is not from 2019, it's from 2014! In 2019, the SuperSix had straight fork blades, that's why I looked up what year that frame colour is really from. Given it's a ten year old frame with 6800 Ultegra without the Ultegra crank set and not the high mod version of the frame, it's way overpriced even with the Enve wheels. For reference I had the exact same frame from 2015. I bought it new in January 2016 (in sale obviously) for 1900£. It had cheap Mavic wheels but an almost complete SRAM Red22 group set (Cannondale SI crank set and Force22 cassette). I loved that bike. But it had a total clearance of 29mm between the chain stays, so riding 23s with a measured width of 25mm, there was 2mm on each side between frame and tire. There was a lot of variance between frames in that regard looking at forum discussions from the time. A very nice bike, but not a superbike by any means. It's a ten year old mid range bike.

You realise that pros in the Tour De France use bikes going up to 20k? 2k is 1/10th of that. Actualy, come to think of it, how about a video teaching us guys to pick the best brands+models 2nd hand. A list maybe! For each category!! (me particularly, I'm interested in climbing bikes). Congrats and dont stop this thing you've started! 👌🏻😉👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🎉

Mark wins my vote for being a good sport and my guess is that next time, he will find a bike with more wings and fins and go even faster, like supersonic tri fast. And thanks for this look at Buycycle. I definitely need to add it to my late-night scrolling. 😀

Cannondale is a fucking steal for that price, that bike is a crit monster, amazing wheels, super light for fast acceleration.

What a great video of three mates enjoying riding bikes, even in the abominable weather, I really enjoyed watching that.

if you're with friends, whatever the weather, it's good fun!

Great video. The best I can remember over the past 4 years. Thanks

Wow that is big praise! What was it that you liked about this video?

I liked that GCN was beaten by a triathlete even if he was wearing socks.

Loving the banter with GTN

Mark's bike can probably be converted to road bike as well. I think his choice for that price was really good!

Si is just fastest of their channel presenters!

Love this! I’d love to hear what each presenter’s favorite bike to ride of all time is. Not the coolest-rather best riding. Might be the latest and greatest or it could be a bike 15 years ago that road so well it still haunts you with how good it was.

Great vid lads and thanks to Si for doing justice to the Emonda. I have the SL6 Pro in the same paint and I absolutely love it.

The bike was in safe hands 🤣

This really reminded me of the old GCN videos, where it was more like a group of mates just messing about with bikes and having a great time doing it. Top marks to all involved. Also, hope Mark was wearing socks for this else his feet would be freezing

Love how they made the best of that horrid weather, they all look in such good spirits ! That said, I would not try to sprint in such wet conditions !!
