555 miles in 48 hours? Hank has done his fair share of challenges over the years on GCN, but this might be his most important! Raising money in memory of rugby legend Doddie Weir, to improve the lives of those living with MND & for vital research to take place. In the past, we've tried to break Hank, but this is a challenge where we’re cheering him & the team on all the way to Edinburgh!

LEJOG rickshaw would be too obvious. How about drop him off in a place unknown to him without the GPS, just a map and a bike. Or better yet, time trial but he must build the bike first, while the timers running. We love you Hank honest

Send Hank and Manon to the States-specifically have them train with a Little 500 team at Indiana University last week before their race & cover the race. And then they can shoot up to Detroit and race a Madison at the indoor velodrome Saturday night races.

Send Hank to Hawaii to ride Mauna Kea. Strava segment is " Waikoloa beach to Mauna Kea summit " ( segments/10729084 ) BUT has to try to get a top 10 of the leader board. AND take ANDREW FEATHER...See if he can beat Phil Gaimons KOM.

Something involving a standout older rider? And I mean, 55+. The reason I thought of this is because I was just looking at some of the excellent gear on the GCN website, and I was surprised that the majority of reviews seemed to come from the 55+ demo -- even for things like aero race shorts. I'm sure we'd love to see an older rider beat Hank on a regular bike -- and we can take it if it turns out Hank can beat the very best 55+ riders out there. But then ... can he beat two? :)

Motor neuron is a cruel, cruel disease, it killed my mum a few years ago. This video has inspired me to try my own money raising endurance test for the local ALS charity. I don't have access to a match ball or international rugby players and I'm no more than a purely recreational cyclist, but I can row the shit out of a single scull. I am going to see how far I can go in 24 hours. I will be aiming for between 150 to 200km.

I found this video really emotional. My father passed away due to MND. One of the the women who rode with my local Sunday club. Also passed away due to MND. The video really hit me hard as my father was only 62 when he passed, 18 days before his 63rd birthday. Rita was in her 70's if I remember right. After seeing how my father deteriorated in 6 months I would like to see a world were people don't have to suffer from this.

Hank! What an amazing video done by an amazing human. This video genuinely brought a tear to my eye as we (my partner Mel and I) just recently lost her mother Cheryl to MND. It is such a horrible disease and watching her go through that was heartbreaking. We too did a charity ride over here in Australia where I rode my fat bike across the Simpson Desert for 5 days with Mel to raise funds for MND South Australia. We managed to raise over 15 thousand dollars towards the cause and couldn't be happier with the result. A massive thanks to you and all the GCN and GMBN crew who I watch religiously whilst churning out the miles on the indoor trainer! Legends :)
