Thank you very much for so useful video! I've a few questions, can you please answer them? I am from Ukraine, I'm learning English and may not have fully understood all the information. Our school lasts 11 years, will I be able to apply for admission for a full semester? But in my case it'll be at the beginning of the 11th grade and I won't have a school leaving certificate. Or do I need a full 12 years of education with a certificate for admission? If so, is there any preparatory program at KAIST? And one more question, does the university provide funding to foreign students? How can I apply for it?

Hello, sorry for the late reply. You don't need to be finished with your education to apply to KAIST. You just need to be finished by the time that you enroll. Also, the number of years doesn't matter as long as it is the full curriculum of your country. So since Ukraine has 11 years of education, you can apply with just 11 and not 12. So, you do not need any prep program at KAIST. Sorry for my late reply. You do need English Proficiency to apply since KAIST is all English. You do not need any Korean proficiency.

I don’t believe KAIST requires you to have a bank statement since all students are funded. You might need it for student visa though and it is recommended to have at least 10,000 USD

I've heard that it's necessary to contact professors at KAIST to seek their approval for the application. Additionally, I would like to know what other information is required for the admission process. With my academic credentials and being from Pakistan, do I have a good chance of being admitted to KAIST? Also is spring intake more competitive than fall intake and involves comparisons with koreans?

No, for undergraduate students, it's not necessary nor recommended to contact professors. As an international student, you compete with other international students, and with 5 A's and 1500+ SAT score, you should be very competitive applicant. I think you have a very good chance given that you score above 1500. The higher the better. I think spring intake is easier since that's the main intake, but don't quote me on that one.
