Hopefully the DEV team balanced out the characters this time around. Geez, the first one had a select few that were waaaay too overpowered like Himoko Toga- tentacles shoots across the room, follows you in the air, goes virtually through anything followed by speeding blades. Basic combo turns unbreakable deflecting your backup team, and guarantees to pin you on the wall just to roll into another combo. Her Quark breaks your guard. WTH? Takes the joy and fairness out. Yeah I'm salty 😂

I'm excited for this game, but the people who will get the most out of the $60 purchase are going to be the ones who never touched the first game while the people bashing it for looking and playing the same way as the last one make no sense since that's how sequels usually work. The jump from tenkaichi 1 and 2 wasn't huge, but it definitely was a sequel worth getting. IMO, the game should be $40, but if they are going to update the game and support it, I'm 100% OK with the current price tag.

@@trickytrouble6679 because when I did the video with afro, I was not at all happy with the game being $60, but I took a step back and looked at it from a different POV of the game (the sequel) being a lot of people's first my hero game and having possible post launch content and updates as well as possibly getting a better story mode and team ultimates. Notice how my comment literally says "the people who will get the most out of the $60 purchase are going to be those who never played the first one" I also brought up the fact that if one's justice 2 has a trash story like the first game, then it's definitely not worth $60. I didn't say it was a cash grab, I simply made sure I stated that it was not a $60 game, specially if the content is mostly online based.

I feel like this is the exact same case as Xenoverse. Xeno 1 tested the waters while Xenoverse 2 made improvements to the overall game to become a framework for long term DLC plans, updates, balance patches and expansion in general.

TBH new characters mean a new meta.Playing online was, in my experience, just fighting hundreds of meta teams. So even 3 new 'good' characters would make this game worth it. Plus Mina (My 2nd fave character) but that's more personal.

Honest opinion here: I'm hyped for this. My Hero Ones Justice added something that nobody seems to mention. In the fact that it was immensely floaty. In most cases that would be a bad thing but the combat in the Anime is also floaty so it worked well for me. I've been waiting for DLC characters because the 3 characters we did get in the first game brought a lot to it. So I'll be picking this one up with no hesitation.

Yeah I'm early what about it Real talk though, I think people need to give this more of a chance here. The game was literally just announced. We don't know the extent of the content, we don't know how different it FEELS to play, we don't know how big the campaign is, what new features there are, online modes, costumes, etc. We only know some characters and seemingly the roster size, the graphics do look better too imo, in a similar way to Storm 3 to Storm 4

It’s possible they release a first game as a limited version just to give players something to play, while in turn looking at a bigger picture continuing from the base of the first game with double the amount of time to work on the second, and the option of adding more, thus doubling their efforts making a better game overall, focusing on longevity and player satisfaction, something like the storm games, adding more and more things to the base sequel while working around the same premise

To be honest, I'm hoping they add some kind of 'make your own character' feature. It would be really cool and it would definitely give it a more defined line between the original and the sequel. Like they add different hair types, clothes etc, and then you get to choose from the existing quirks and abilities what your character will have.

Friendly reminder that Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 was released back in 2016 and is still updating their game with the latest characters, even adding new features and story and Attack on Titan 2 covered seasons 1 and 2 back in 2018 and has recently released a DLC that covers the rest of the seasons Let me add that Street Fighter 5 updated their game with new moves as well as Soul Calibur 6 along with a 2nd season pass This game has shown no excuses of being a """new""" game being charged at full price

I will likely pick up this game when it comes out, but I'll wait awhile for confirmation of one big thing; LOWER LOAD TIMES. I wanted to 100% the first game, I genuinely enjoy the gameplay of it, but dear god... to do a mission mode you need to boot up the game, wait on a load screen, select mission mode, and which missions to do, wait on a load screen, pick your characters, select the first mission, wait on a load screen, beat the fight, wait on a load screen, pick the next stage, wait on a load screen, repeat the last 4 steps.

As a programmer (not a game dev) any - and I mean ANY - changes you would be doing to a new game could have been patched into the old one. However 'could' doesn't mean 'should' old systems always react badly to huge overhauls, maybe some of the stuff they changed would cause such massive bugs that it wouldn't be worth it do keep going with development, since it would slow down character releases A.K.A. the main way they make money.

I think it's the fact that the MHA one's justice story mode was very bad. Most people play Story mode and do there Solo content,play a bit of online then they drop the game but they are happy and consider it a good purchase. Ex: Storm games good story mode for anime content,Online always Add one or two core mechanics set by step and the support after launch was never there (One big patch per game)

This is very similar to persona 4 arena ad Ultimax. You got pretty much the same game, but many existing characters got new movesets, a bunch of new characters, and a different story mode. In the end, though both games had the same base, Ultimax was worth paying for, just due to how much the game varied to the original.

I have the feeling that a lot of the people that say it's just a cashgrab only look at the graphics and style of the game, which are pretty much exactly the same. But I love that they left the style as it is, because it just looks good. There is a certain game that soon gets it 4th entry, where I don't understand that no one uses that argument there. OP Pirate Warriors 4. I only played the third and saw a bit of the others, so my question, did these games changed in any way except the story getting new chapters? But I don't wanna hate on another game. I liked the 3rd Pirate Warriors and I'm interested in the 4th. And I'll definitely get One's Justice 2 simply because the 1st one was my favorite arena fighter.

I already like the changes with area, decay actually has combos, I think the plus ultra gauge will factor in counter system, to help you during spam mostly in air, the block in air better and especially the fall block lag, auto block would be nice. From what I saw maybe have team finishers

What makes the game better? One Hero Justice the original runs on my potato lappy around 25-30. The 2nd one however runs around 40-60 fps while looking better than the first one. I think they did a goodjob from optimizing the game
