I think the shigaraki's dash cancels were fine in theory, he just didn't do a very optimized combo off of it. If you look at your meter in comparison he's only down by about a quarter of your meter after doing that because the combo itself builds more meter. And he didn't have assists yet so why not do it? It pretty much doubled his combo's damage for like a third of a plus ultra 1, that's not bad.

ickyfist You can get a combo on the ground that does more damage and cost no meter. He just isn’t adept enough with the character yet needs more practice.

@@mrmcmilky5912 Yeah he clearly didn't know what he was doing and that was the real problem. I just disagree with this insistence many people have that dash canceling is bad in this game. It really isn't, you just need to use it correctly. For example yoarashi can get 13k with a single dash cancel (no assist, no ultra). Every character I play has optimal uses of dash canceling.

Idk globku I've done some testing with rappa especially and i find it 3 times more worth it to dash cancel and then just play good neutral. The problem isnt the fact that he had no bar. The problem is he had no assist. Now if you spend bar with rappa you get some nice half health combos. But if you never extend you dont get very good damage. I only plus ultra when I know they have assist

I love Amajiki but in this game he's hella frustrating for me to fight, he can get easy wall splats and crazy damage out of it. He has a prettttty cheesy unblockable but it's not the worst thing about him. I just feels like he can get easy damage wheras other characters struggle but I suppose that may just be because I'm not accustomed to the game yet.

Anyone know what's going on with online mode in this game? Was playing unranked mode with Seiji the other night on my PS4 and I kept getting kicked out of matches. No "waiting for response" countdown, just the match completely quits. Does it count against you for quitting matches?

After watching your how to make combos in OJ2 video where you use Suneater as an example I've pretty much exclusively played him. His combos are super fun and really strong with the basically free wall splats. I also cringe now when I see Suneater players only spam his red attack or skip the yellow attack in his air combo.

U kn. Instead of using tht ground slam in the combo were ur opponent is stuck in the wall... u can use the clam thing again and get another "wall (floor) splat" and then u can do it all over again

Some characters can, but very few. Combo breaking deals zero damage, and the whole assist is unavailable for a long time
