Bro the thing I used to love about raging blast 2 specifically is when you transform, the combos got faster and stronger. Super saiyan 2 was always one of my favorite transformations for any character because they began to fight really fast, especially ss2 gohan and vegeta. Something that bothers me about the gameplay is how "turn-based" it feels when you get up close. One character will string a combo, the other will passively receive the hits, or teleport-dodge if possible, and that's it. I feel the gameplay should incentivize guarding a lot more. (Although this impression could be due to how all the gameplay we have seen thus far comes from people with limited time on their hands to play the game and which still haven't learned its mechanic properly, so I remain optimistic) Also, speaking of guarding, the animations I saw for it were way too stiff compared to what we had before in Raging Blast. Now the character just stands there, in a static guarding position, taking hits. In Raging Blast the arms and stance actually adapted according to the type of hit he character was guarding from (just like in the show and IRL too) I wish more people would notice these details, as when they are done correctly and compound on top of one another, we all have a much more memorable experience.

Limiting splitscreen to only the the Hyperbolic Time Chamber was absolutely due to performance. Console manufacturer have both graphical requirements if you have to reduce the quality of graphics, and framerate requirements, and these two things has caused the removal of splitscreen so many games in the recent generations. The fact they were still able to give us splitscreen, even limited to a single map, is great they were able to find a way to make it work.

6:30 some of the standard elements are from raging blast, like RB for guard. Not sure what "Perception" or "Revenge Counter" are, but B button in Raging Blast was for signature moves, special things unique to each character, like goku had a unique teleport smash, vegeta has a ki blast barrage which fires fast and flinches opponent. Piccolo extends his arm to yank the opponent back to him, that kinda thing.
