Hi quick question superplasticizer is expensive and hard to get hold of if your not a company here in the UK any advice on how to make your own , for self compacting concrete . Good pier cap saves on mould time for low numbers

Hey! We really don't recommend using superplasticizer while making this capstone, because that will make the concrete too liquid and it won't stick up in a peak like this. Also, there really is no way to make superplasticizer without a laboratory :P We do ship superplasticizer worldwide in user friendly quantities, either 1lb (0.453592 kg.) bags, 33 Lb. (14.9685 kg.) bags, or 55 L. (24.9476 kg.) bags. Here is the less expensive, weaker option-globmarble.com/superplasticizer-for-cement-and-gypsum.html and here is the stronger alternative- globmarble.com/concrete-additive-water-reducer-super-plasticizer.html
