The simple fact that several of the subcomponents serve double roles in captivating other parts is just sheer genius.

Thank you !! Its nice to know i' m not the only old guy with short fat fingers who drops small parts too . This video really helps . I'm building a glock 21 gen 3, 45 acp with lone wolf barrel and captured guide rod and a rockslide vented slide with a carver 4 port comp that requires a 14 lb spring jim.

Thanks for mentioning where exactly the guide rod is supposed to sit in the upper slide ,because when I first disassembled my glock, the guide rod was sitting on the first step. Glad I fixed that on my gut feeling 😊

Very thorough, thanks. But I’m curious how many times you’ve been bitten by the slide with your hand over the top like that lol

Thank you for your video. I didn't know what the smaller spring was for. Is the replacement Striker Spring a Mandatory Swap in conjunction with the Replacement Recoil Spring and is the replacement striker spring reduced strength also?
@TriggerShims7 жыл бұрын
Hi, no, it is not mandatory to change the Striker Spring, it is a factory strength replacement striker spring. Good Shooting, Lance

How many lbs is the striker spring rated at? (The factory Glock is 5.0 lbs) I think Wolff rates their standard spring at 5.5 lbs.

why does Wolf send a striker spring? whats the benefit ??
@giulyjimi935 жыл бұрын
Because in a Glock, when you pull the trigger, the striker spring makes opposition to the recoil spring. If the recoil spring is too soft, there is a risk that the action will be opened. So Wolff send you a replacement striker spring calibrated for required recoil spring.

Your gun is badly neglected of proper oiling techniques....it should be smooth as glass..man that sounded like nails on a chalk board when you worked the action Unless you put alcohol on it prior to video for a reason in which case carry om good sir lol

LOL, that was out of box from Glock, still had the copper paste lube which is actually pretty good IMO A few hundred rounds and it will loosen up.
