Yo Håfa Adai Che’lu!🤙🏽 glad I ran into your channel bro!! I currently just purchased a 43X and the first thing I noticed, was that HORRENDOUS factory Glock trigger… just the first 200 rounds, I could already feel the trigger guard eating into my finger! Right after that first season I went and did some research into replacing it. Found a couple good options (apex, Overwatch, and Agency Arms to name a few) I almost went with GlockStore Pyramid Tirgger, but found the flat face to be a better option and went with Agency Arms. I think I made an excellent selection IMO👌🏽 Great content brother, look forward to watching more! Esta shoooot…

@@XtremeAdventures671 yeah I saw it was pretty old video, I was looking up Agency Arms triggers before purchasing one so I guess your vid mixed into my algorithm👌🏽 my first firearm I wanted a CCW, so I went with the 43X. But I definitely am looking into something a bit more beefier in the near future. Got any suggestions??
@XtremeAdventures6714 ай бұрын
@@MikeV671 Typically when people initially consider CCW, they naturally look at smaller subcompacts. They are much easier to conceal but generally harder to shoot (more snappy), especially for new shooters. Easier to learn with full-size pistols (Glock 17 or 47), compact pistols (Glock 19) are ok too. Pending your body type & holster, able to CCW G19…some ccw full-size pistols too. As every person has different hand size, my initial suggestion would be to try various types of pistols/firearms from your friends & family to get a feel for them before buying. Glocks, M&P, CZ, Sig, Walthers, etc are all very reliable firearms. Cant go wrong with Glocks. Huge aftermarket support. Since you already own the 43X, a G19/17/47/45/49 would be great options. Since they would be both Glocks, similar grip angle & feel.

I have a Overwatch on my G19 Gn 5. Also a Ghost 3.5 connecter. When I went to the range the Glock fired two rounds with one pull. Overwatch said the offernder was the Ghost conneter. II'm suprised you dident go the range to test both triggers.I put the OEM connecter back in with the Overwatch trigger. Let you know when I shoot it. I have an Overwatch on my G43 with the Ghost...no Issues.

This is a video I did like 5 yrs ago. Now the Gen4 G19 slide assembly is on a Shadow System MR918 frame, still same Overwatch trigger & Ghost 3.5 connector. Got quite a few rounds through it since then but no issues of it firing multiple rounds with 1 trigger pull. Lately my Glocks are safe queens, switched over to Walther PDP & Sig P320s.

Thanks for the awesome video and actually taking the time in demonstrating both triggers and not just trying to sell a product. They claim the overwatch is 5-5.5 and the agency is 4.5. How are yours so low? I’m wanting one for my carry Glock and I’m not wanting it down to 3.75 preferably no lower than 4.5. How can I get mine in the 4.5-5. Range?
@XtremeAdventures6712 жыл бұрын
It’s been few years since posted the video…glad it provided helpful info for you. The minus connectors is what decreases the pull weight by 1lb or so usually. In the video I used a Wheeler manual spring loaded trigger gauge, with the Lyman digital trigger gauge, pull weight on both the Agency & Overwatch is about 3.5lbs.
@whatfreedom72 жыл бұрын
@@XtremeAdventures671 so the minus connector is something not in those kits and bought separately? Is that right?
@XtremeAdventures6712 жыл бұрын
@@whatfreedom7 Depends on the aftermarket trigger you get. Agency Arms did not include, only trigger shoe & trigger bar. The Overwatch is a complete trigger, includes trigger shoe, trigger bar, & complete ejector housing with minus connector. Nowadays you have more options like Johnny Glocks & Timney trigger which are said to be the best Glock triggers. You may want to look into Johnny Glocks (he has KZbin channel) & Timney.

The Trigger take up is from the Ghost connector to begin with so the adjustments that you put on the connector bar is what set the take that’s on your Pistol. The only other safe adjustment is to cut out the connector and trigger bar slot.

I have the Overwatch Precision TAC trigger installed in my Glock 26. I have to call BS on your claim that this trigger has no over-travel (5:07). I do like the trigger but on mine, the over-travel is noticeable.
@XtremeAdventures6717 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment. Over-travel is any amount of positive trigger movement following the break. I dont really have any additional movement of the trigger after the break. Once it breaks trigger is as far back as it can go. I dont own a Glock 26 so I cannot speak for it, but its unfortunate that you are experiencing noticeable positive movement after the break.

@throttleup7 жыл бұрын
On their website, Overwatch Precision claims reduced over-travel on this trigger assembly that uses a Glock Gen 3 OEM trigger bar (compatible with Gen 3and Gen 4 models). Other triggers are available that provide for manual adjustment of over-travel but since I have this trigger installed in my every day carry gun, I believe this to be a safer option for reliability of function. Having said all that, my groups are reduced in size and I am happy with this trigger. Thanks for posting your video.

@rockspydre7 жыл бұрын
Have you done a safety check on the Agency Arms trigger? The way the firing-pin safety ramp is cut on the Agency trigger makes me think that the pre-travel has been reduced to the point that the cruciform is no longer sitting on the shelf when the trigger is at rest (after charging). If that is the case, when the trigger is fully forward, you would be able to push down on the cruciform (slide off the frame), and the cruciform would drop down to where the striker would be released. That still doesn't necessarily mean that the gun would experience a discharge if dropped, as they obviously have cut the striker safety ramp to the point the striker safety is only released at the very last possible moment. But, it has defeated one of the three internal safeties, IF AND ONLY IF the cruciform is no longer riding on the shelf. Something perhaps to take a look at. Incidentally, I have checked the safety on my Overwatch Precision trigger. It passes. The cruciform is still riding the shelf.
@XtremeAdventures6717 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your concern. Yes I have checked the cruciform and made sure the safeties of the glock trigger remain when I installed both the Agency and Overwatch triggers. Even if the ramp on the trigger bar that depresses the fire pin safety plunger is cut more than factory, the cruciform still rides on the shelf of the trigger mechanism housing preventing it from dropping when the trigger is fully forward and on resets when testing it manually with the slide off. I have many friends and know of others who run Agency Triggers without any issues. I have read some instances of various trigger problems posted on forums but haven't had any issues with mine nor my friends. There are always chances of lemons on any product produced. Best to always test products out.

Understood. Thank you for the reply. I'm glad to hear you did the tests, and glad to read your description of how it sits. I am considering an Agency build. I got a chance to test the feel of the trigger on a friends full build, and it almost felt too good to be true. Which worried me. Again, thanks for the reply, and explanation.

New to upgrading glocks, building a pf940v2 and putting one of these two triggers in it. I’m leaning towards the overwatch, but the agency’s coming with a minus connector has me second guessing myself. Do you think I should go with the agency because the minus connector would give me that much better of a trigger pull?
@XtremeAdventures6717 жыл бұрын
Price difference between Agency ($150) to Overwatch ($135) is basically cost of the minus connector. If you choose to go with the Overwatch, you can pick up a Ghost 3.5lb connector (which I hve installed . I don't think you can go wrong with either one. The minus connector or aftermarket connector such as the Ghost 3.5 will provide a lighter trigger pull.

Great video. Would love to know your opinions between the Agency Arms and Zev Tech Fulcrum. Also, about using these in an EDC gun. It's said to keep your EDC trigger stock, but if you're a better shot with a better trigger, then why would it make a difference? Advice??
@XtremeAdventures6717 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment. Hoping to get my hands on a few more triggers for comparison. Both the Agency and Overwatch triggers are installed on my EDC Glock 19s as you see in the video. The Agency and Overwatch triggers use a factory oem trigger bar to retain the factory glock trigger safeties. The difference the Agency/Overwatch triggers make over factory oem triggers will be the much shorter pre-travel/take up, the flat face trigger shoe provides a more consistent trigger pull, polished/np3 coated trigger bar provides a more smooth, clean , and crisp trigger pull, break, and reset. The Agency trigger includes a factory oem minus connector which is to reduce the trigger pull weight from the factory advertised 5.5lbs but I have the Ghost 3.5 connector already installed on both Glock 19s you see in the video so did not use the factory oem minus connector. Hope I answered your question.

I'm stuck between the two. I read in a previous comment, that you enjoy the agency arms slightly more. Is that still the case? If so, has it been reliable this whole time? I noticed the overwatch, with the connector, is actually more than agency arms right now. I'm willing to go with what's best and reliable though. Do you think if you didn't polish the agency arms connector it would still perform better than overwatch?
@XtremeAdventures6716 жыл бұрын
Sorry late reply. Both are great triggers and have run flawlessly so far. I do tend to shoot my Gen4 more often that my Gen2 so use the Agency trigger more. On the Agency, the factory trigger bar is reshaped so gives shorter take up than the factory trigger bar on the Overwatch. The Overwatch trigger shoe is slightly thicker, which i like the feel better on my finger. The Agency trigger bar comes polished only in the key contact areas.....I just polished the entire trigger bar so its uniformed....maybe better polishing job done by myself. Overwatch has the NP3 coated so no need polish it yourself.

Will the shorter take up make it more prone to discharge when dropped?
@XtremeAdventures6717 жыл бұрын
No. As stated it uses the factory Glock trigger bar so all the safeties remain intact. Shorter take up is mainly due to the trigger shoe design. But there are some triggers being sold in the market that may make it unsafe in regards to drop safety. Here is a link to better understand the 3 safeties on a Glock trigger system, just as long as none of these safeties are altered by a drop in trigger replacement you will not have to worry. us.glock.com/technology/safe-action

If you haven't already, I suggest that you ditch the ghost connector and use the OEM Minus connector that was not only polished but tuned by Agency Arms. ghost is crap. And you'd be surprised at how smooth, yet crisp the Minus connector is in combination with the Agency tuned trigger bar.

Thanks for your comment and opinion. I did test the factory Glock minus connector, but my personal preference is the Ghost 3.5 connector. The factory Glock minus connector provides 4.5lb trigger pull, the Ghost 3.5 connector provides just a bit above 3.5lb trigger pull (3lbs 10oz - 12oz). To me the trigger pull with the Ghost 3.5 connector is more fluid and smoother. They both work fine, both have crisp break and reset. I have the ghost connectors installed in all my glocks (Gen2 Glock 19, Gen4 Glock 19 MOS, and Glock 43) and they all work perfectly fine, I have not encountered any issues with them. At the end, I believe it will be every individuals personal preference and feel with the actual product in their hands.

Great that you really like the Overwatch triggers that its installed on many of your pistols. Overwatch TAC trigger is $135, Agency Arms trigger is $150 but includes a factory Glock minus connector (4.5lb). I already had the Ghost Inc 3.5lb connector installed on both Gen 2 and Gen 4 Glock 19s so didnt need the factory Glock minus connector. If remove value of the factory Glock minus connector, I would say both triggers cost about the same. It would be great if Agency Arms provided option to purchase their trigger without the factory Glock minus connector. The great value in the Overwatch triggers is that the factory Gen 3 Glock trigger bar has Robar NP3 plating which provides corrosion resistance and smooth, grit-free opertion. On the other hand, where people may feel that Agency Arms triggers are overpriced is that the factory Gen 3 Glock trigger bar is only polished in key areas but in reality you only need the key areas that make contact be polished for smoother operation. If you want a nice and shinny trigger bar, a dremel and some Mother's polish (25 cent trigger job) can take care of that quick and easy. Honestly, I cannot really tell much of a difference between a poilshed trigger bar and the NP3 coated trigger bar. Both are very smooth, not gritty like the factory unpolished trigger bar. I have installed both the Overwatch and Agency triggers into my Gen 2 & Gen 4 Glock 19s. After putting bunch of rounds down the range, I honestly have to give the edge to the Agency Arms trigger based on my personal experience. It has less take up/pre-travel and shorter reset. Both great drop in trigger options.
