​@@qarisahb3381both. The frame is plastic but the internals like the trigger assembly and slide lock are all metal. The slide, barrel, firing pin, and such are all metal. The guide rod is plastic but the recoil spring is metal. The sights on the g19 are plastic. It's a nice balance that makes it lightweight enough for a comfortable carry while still being heavy enough where it counts for ease of shooting.

I just saw today that on the 19 X they actually deliberately make the frame so it cannot except a auto switch, which should only be used by a person that has the proper forms for it, but what I’m saying is, I never knew that the 19 X has a extended plastic area that will not allow something like that to be installed, which I find pretty smart, to be honest. Also look at the video again I never realize the 19 X has more of a dust cover on the rear back plate because on the standard 19 the right side of the dust plate would allow very very small rocks to get in there, but on the 19 X it’s completely sealed up, that’s very cool as well

One of the best Glocks I've shot in terms of ergonomics. The stock parts are also great, and comes standard with night sights. It was the first Glock I ended up purchasing, it's the perfect Glock in my opinion

I went with a 19x MOS and it came with iron sights that are a lot taller than the night sites so you can co-witness through an optic. I went with a Trijicon red dot and it works great.

i have both but i prefer my 19x bc i have long ass fingers so it fits my hand better plus the smallest mag is 17 but it also cones with 19s. 2-4 rounds doesn’t sound nor seem like a big difference but you can do alot with 2-4 rounds. In sone situations 2-4 rounds can depend on life or death

I just don't understand the 19X.. I'd rather have a Glock 17 if I'm going to have a full size grip profile. The only reason the nineteen is preferable over the seventeenth is because it is easier to conceal due to its lower grip profile. But if you're gonna have a full size frame, you might as well get a full size barrel to go with it. It just never really made sense to me when the 17 exist. And if you can afford an H&K or Walther the the VP9 or PDP is a better option all around. So pretty much at every price point and size there is a better striker fire polymer option from both Glock and it's Competitors.

The 19 x has a marksman barrel where the Glock 19 doesn't, but it still shoots just as good. I bought a plug for my Glock 19 called Grip Plug tool for Glock. I really enjoy it, and I highly recommend it for the price for what you get
