The $.25 trigger job does wonders alone but add one of these connectors to take your trigger to the next level, very inexpensively. If you purchase the spring kit, it will make your trigger pull lighter as well. Great option instead of spending $100+ on an aftermarket trigger.

You will also want to polish the heck out of the top side of the connector, the very top where the 90 degree bend is. The side of this bend as well and the edges on this bend, I use 2000 grit sand paper to really smooth the top edge of the 90 bend then polish. This dramatically improves and shortens the reset.

I wonder how much this would help my Psa dagger trigger . Good video !
@dangerousfarmer
@dangerousfarmer 9 ай бұрын
It would help a bunch. I feel like the dagger trigger is a little bit lighter than a Glock trigger, but the travel is a little bit longer. This would help shorten some of that travel, over travel, and speed up the reset.

Get a lighter striker spring and itll make a huge difference combined with the 3.0 connector

I done that in my 19x but forgot about it when I went to do this one. I’ve got one on the way now.

I wouldn't go down more than half a pound on the striker spring. You'll still get reliable ignition and you're going to Save yourself a half of a pound on the trigger weight. It doesn't sound like a lot but when you combine With other tweaking that you can do with the system at all adds up. A four and a half pound crisp trigger pull is very realistic safe and functional. I'm not really a big fan of polishing where you're a suggestion that can lead to trip fires, Causing undue accelerated wear on the components. You do know that glock has a coating on their parts that provide lubricity, right?? The polishing of the suggested areas will take course naturally if you actually fire the weapon. Deburr the trigger area polish the safety plunger and the shark fin, that's it. Reduced power safty plunger spring + a 5 lb striker spring We'll make a noticeable difference and you'll get rid of your grit and creep.

As a certified Glock armorer, doing this does nothing. If Glock thought what you are doing was better, they would have made them like this.

As a non-certified Glock enthusiast, I promise you it does do something. Whether it’s a net positive or negative is up for debate but this trigger definitely feels than stock triggers do. I gave up some reliability for a better feeling trigger. Glock is shooting for maximum reliability and safety which they do a great job at getting close to-(obviously every gun is prone to some sort of malfunction at some point so 100% reliability is impossible). The reduced power striker spring definitely isn’t as reliable. It doesn’t hit primers as hard and won’t reliably ignite cheap ammo that has hard primers but the trigger absolutely is more crisp with shorter and faster resets. Shoot decent ammo and you’re generally good. Particularly when your on the flat range and your life isn’t on the line. Your mileage may vary. Do whatever you want, brudda. I enjoy tinkering with them and will continue to do so. Thanks for watching 👍🏽

Switching to a performance trigger would get a better outcome and would turn the “wall” into more of a speed bump

How does the lighter connector affect reliability? My gen 4 19 is stock except night sights. It's smooth as butter, but if shoot that so much over years.

As far as I’m aware, the connector shouldn’t affect reliability. Changing the striker spring to a lighter one can cause light primer strikes and that’s just something I’ve chose to deal with and it only rarely happens. Usually only on super cheap, crappy ammo.

I am ever so grateful for thy remarkable contribution and the implication of thy profound wisdom and understanding. Verily, I am but a mere worm in thy sight, and quite obviously, thy knowledge and experience doth tower vastly above mine own. It is indeed fascinating to learn this, given how flawlessly the firearm doth operate.

@@dangerousfarmer You improved it somewhat for sure. You didn't even check the fit of the connector. It was a bad idea to polish it also. I'm sure it improved over what you replaced though, no doubt.

@alexskillz45 Thank thee twain for thy grand suppositions of improvement, despite thou never having felt the trigger upon this particular firearm. How thou dost know so assuredly of its enhancement (or lack thereof), I comprehend not. The boldness with which thou denounceth the error of my ways doth make one ponder if thou art a veritable oracle of the finest weaponry that Jimenez, Cobra, Bryco, and Jennings doth produce and a user of the most ludicrous and ridiculous gadgetry available. Thy arrogance and unwarranted confidence in thy proclaimed ‘wisdom,’ as well as thy absurd revolver grip upon modern striker-fired handguns, doth clearly reveal thine own folly and ignorance.

@@dangerousfarmer It's easy for me to notice. You wouldn't recognize skill, I bet all you care about is keeping the muzzle down and accuracy is no concern. Did you see the Jimenez Jam once? It was 100% reliable. That's because I got skills like that, even for a gun I bought for $50 from the original owner that had it for 25 years and doesn't remember it ever working well. 5 days I sold it to a collector for $450. It is a sweet shooter. I see what you concern yourself with is social rank. Im sure you are skillful at maintaining that. Definitely not at maintaining guns.

@alexskillz45 Thou dost speak with the confidence of one thinking they possesseth profound wisdom, assuming to know my skill or lack thereof without cause or reason. Art thou a time and space traveling mind reader? I bow before thee oh majesty. Thou dost know nothing of me, yet speweth with arrogant confidence things about my person that it is impossible for thee to know, for thou knoweth me not. Thy belief that skill alone can render any firearm into a beacon of reliability is as fanciful as the notion that collectors yearn from their deepest loins for such ‘Saturday night specials.’ Verily, it must be the alchemy of thy tongue, rather than any true proficiency, that doth transform these frail contraptions into ‘sweet shooters.’ It is curious indeed how thou dost proclaim thyself an oracle of skill, whilst failing to grasp that skill hath naught to do with the reliability of a firearm. Thy bold assertions reveal thee as naught but a simple troll, spouting conceit and ignoring rather than true understanding.
