I changed my recoil spring from 13# to a 15#. The muzzle rise and return felt a little slower today, but I am not good enough to notice a significant difference in my shooting. My splits were generally slower, but maybe it was because I was not as visually focused today.
For the USPSA practice stage, I took 2 stabs at it. The first run was cold and that was to try to mimic a real competition. I usually get a little nervous on the very first stages. But today I told myself to be visually aware and to transition the gun with aggressive eye movement from target to target. I think I did a decent job at those 2 things for my level. I am very happy about my shot-calling today.
However, my movement was stagnant, I didn't execute the plan exactly how I planned it, I continue to look down at the mag pouch when I reload even though I have repped it hundreds of times in dry-practice, and finally, I had to fish for the dot 2 times during the first run.
In the 2nd run (not included in this video), I focused more on fluid movement and better reloads. I achieved those 2, but I had 3 makeup shots because of a weak grip and lack of visual patience.
