A noticeably surprising modification that blew me away was using a Aim Surplus barrel. I now use them in all my builds. They are not advertised as a match barrel but they have delivered a noticeable improvement in accuracy. Price defies performance.

Carried Glock on and off duty for 32 years. Retired now and Glock is still my edc even thou I can now carrying anything I want. I have bought and used version 1 and 2 of the Glock Performance Triggers. Version 2 being a better set up and feel due to the lighter spring in the trigger shoe safety and the 5 lb connector Glock discovered gave a better break and reset than the first version. That being said, I still prefer the rolling break of the Gen 5 over the GPT. After shooting thousands of rounds with stock and several after market triggers, I now carry a Overwatch Precision Falx Trigger with oem trigger bar and minus connector in my G45 edc. I would encourage new shooters to shoot and train with the stock trigger and get proficient with the gun before trying new triggers in the platform. Lastly, I carry a red dot on my Glocks because at this point in time its not even debatable red dots are better than iron sights. Learning to shoot with one focal point instead of three is a no brainer. Once you learn the presentation and fundamentals of using the red dot you will be faster, more accurate, and a better shooter period.

If glock isn't gonna pre install these, apex is the way to go if you're going to have to take out the block to do everything yourself

Point well taken, and I agree that the Glock Performance Trigger should be the new standard for Glocks. However, there are many superior triggers on the market that outperform it. Personally, I prefer Timney, but Apex and Zev also make excellent options.

I got the performance trigger to try. I was’t impressed enough to buy another. A 25 cent trigger job gave better results.

Thank you for your feedback. I agree with you on that. While I appreciate the performance trigger, I didn't feel like it was absolutely necessary to upgrade.

@@maheraboukhzam9631 just polish out all contact points and minimize frame rubbing on the trigger bar. 3.5 # trigger. Stock stock striker and light plunger spring.

It’s the wall that you couldn’t feel. Just anew trigger to you but dude you can shoot. That dot needs to come up an inch or two. The issue with the slide is your support thumb is riding the slide slowing it down. The stock trigger is ok except on the G43X most painful trigger ever. The safety plunger feels like a razor blade brings tears to your eyes in 10 shots.
