You could use two turrets now, the second will start up once the nearest runs out of ammo. Half your reload trips, or have one still firing while you reload.

Yeah, not too long ago I had the idea of making it to where all tools, weapons, armor, and clothes must be crafted by the player. The base, though... personally, I don't think it's very fun to build a base from scratch.

Another cool trick if you are using a shotgun in your build is use the duckbill mod which spreads the pellets out very wide and throw a rad remover on it. Each individual pellet stops rad regeneration. Very useful for high game stages where the majority of zeds are radiated.

Might be a good idea to set up an "Oh, shit" stash at another location in case your cabin gets trashed. Some place like the cabin in the cold biome.

Because if he's maxed health nut perk and with a stack of mega crushers he can just make a run out of the cabin and kill zombies outside forever, he talked about that and he doesn't wanna do that, which is why the 2 conditions are: cabin is destroyed/overrun or he dies.

I'm just going by Glocks own words in episode one that if cabin is destroyed he will rebuild. If that changes along the way, ok it's glock series he makes rules. Most likely if cabin falls Glock will most likely go down fighting.

I usually set those barracks chairs down and scrap them with a wrench(etc.) - it gives you military fiber if you have full wasteland book set.. I only mention because I scrapped them normally and was wondering wtf I wasn't getting any fibers.. using the wrench gets you them. Mainly just a fyi because reminded me you were picking up the chairs and scraping them internally ;) I look forward to your anecdotes, too, my fellow NJ-er..

He actually touched on this before. He says that with any series you steadily lose viewers no matter what pretty much so it's particularly ineffective for small channels to do them. Better for small youtubers to do interesting high octane one-offs

At the workbench at Journeys End there is usually a gun bag where the haybales are. You have to pick them up and it's underneath there. Not worth a trip back, but if you're passing by you should grab it.

The spikes are better than the chain on the steel club glock. They do bonus damage because of armor penetration. The knockdown bonus from the chain can be replaced with the weighted head mod which also slows and stuns enemies and the burning shaft mod is for the 3rd slot because its just bonus damage and a torch. If you get a level 6 version then put an ergonomic mod to lower stamina usage.

Tip for your upcoming nightmare series. Start with the bone knife and a point into bladed weapons skill for bleed damage. Use the traders to your advantage, especially trader Joel with the wall around his compound having holes in it for you to stab through.

One potential trick to try; If you find the Rad schematic, or a second rad mod Put one in Junky, then even when the majority of the horde are Radiated Zombies, Junky is nulling that on a lot of them before they even get to you.

Hello im a xbox player with an insane difficulty world that's over 2000 days old so I know alot of the poi's I can confirm the old days end is a three story motel with 2 building in the poi. each story has 3-5 rooms and there's a pool and small office with safe. Also in the poi. Just for anyone wondering about what it's like on console. Also console is in alpha 1 still so everything is very different. Tip: You can still set up multiple junk turrets, and as the nearest runs out of ammo, the next nearest will activate, so you can go reload the empty one while the next is still firing.

@Glock9 there are actually several ways to outrun nightmare zombies. Wearing all light armor with skill points put into cardio, coffee, mega crush, steroids, etc. I've done many horde nights on foot with nightmare speed insane difficulty and it is very doable.

So I know I'm posting late on the video but if your going into intellect then you could always put a blade trap on the wall. It doesn't set off demolishers and you can repair them of course so maybe it would save on ammo. Me and a friend made a base where it's just a small box with the edges filled in like a wedge to funnel zombies to a flat face, and blade traps with hole just big enough to access them through to repair. cops don't spit, demolishers don't blow up, crawlers and spiders can't get us and we just spend a steel repairing blade traps.

My gentle suggestion is that you may consider getting on electrics so you place a battery bank/generator and wire a shotgun/smg turret to provide youtself best safety possibile. Hey Glock! You should consider buying the books you don't have from the Traders. Full Perk Book bonuses are really good. Also, don't forget to make some AP Junk Turret Ammo! Junk Turrets (and turrets in general), don't set off demolishers in A19 (IIRC).

what if you was to use a sledge turret at the door or on the upper part? maybe knock a block out in the side of the upper part next to the bars at foot level with the turret on the other side of the wall. so if it can only hit their legs and won't set off a demo , plus make them fall. a steel hatch at the door maybe a good thing if all surrounding blocks was steel. good vid

I recently set the daylight settings to 14 hours in a new map I generated. The moon is still out at 7 AM, also the very first zombie I ran into was a spider zombie. Got wrecked mere minutes after starting.

@Glock9 Would a demolisher or cop be able to destroy your hatch, that's leading underground, if they were to explode above it? I know it is about 3-4 blocks from the entrance to your house. I was just curious if you thought about destroying your ladder halfway down and digging a tunnel out incase anyone falls down. Once that hatch is destroyed and you are still fighting zombies, all of your supplies would be gone since it is a straight drop to all of your loot. Instead of two junk turrets, maybe have the hammering one near the front of your hatch and if a zombie got really close, it would push it back to the stair case. I don't know much but this base is a simple setup and I think you could get into 50 days or so.
