Sometimes April Fools can become a reality. And there exists dice where faces can be modified.

As an amateur magician and card mechanic, I have been assigned to shuffle the monster deck. For some reason, they never have good luck. And I for some reason draw into an unlikely amount of crits!

You can actually replicate a character's starting attack modifier deck, or the enemy modifier deck with two Fudge dice. It maths out to about the same results, assuming you use the "Miss is a -2, x2 is a +2" house rule. The problem is once you start changing those decks and shuffling blesses and curses.
@RageBadgerGaming Жыл бұрын
Right. Actually doing it would need rules re writes or heavy lifting

@@RageBadgerGaming You could get a reasonably close approximation by giving characters an extra Enchantment point for free whenever they'd get a Perk. So instead of having stuff like extra damage, shield, and generating elements from your attack cards, you'd have them baked into the cards in your deck instead. Despite using dice, it would (weirdly) create less randomness because you'd know exactly what each card play will do, the only random factor would be a -2 to +2 variance in damage.

Just need to get Josh to play Geminate. Only one form will take all the nulls. Once you've figured out which side that is, you can maximize appropriately.

@@RageBadgerGaming I actually had an experience like that once where there was a scoundrel on the team who drew a critical miss for literally every single attack. We eventually lost the scenario, and that’s when I stopped playing Gloomhaven by myself
