I have been listening to Damash for a few years and there just isn’t enough colourful words to describe the music that flows. From within him. He can have you crying one minute and ready to rumble the ne xt. His voice of velvet also houses sounds of crystals. He sings like the doves and roars like tiger. Greetings from Afghanistan, I have watched most of Dimash’s performances even if I didn’t understand the meaning of some of his songs, but I can’t explain how I feel after listening to each one of them. The more I hear of this guy the more stunned I become.....if you don't understand what I mean, just take a look at the individual faces in the audience when he sings. I am Japanese and I know the original song (lyrics) of this by Koji Tamaki. This Chinese version, to me, is the response to the original song by Koji Tamaki. This November, my dear friend sent his wife back to heaven. They have been a perfect couple. I could see he was just happy to feel her warmth in each morning of her last days and cherished every moment with her and wished her not to leave him forever, and that was his only wish, just like the original. And just like this version of this song, she, I know that, she was strong woman and she was ready to go back to god, but I can't imagine how hard that would have been for her to leave him alone down here knowing his sorrow. And I am sure they had unspoken promises to remember. I want to dedicate this song to them, and make sure he doesn't forget the unspoken promise with her- live strong and be happy and keep her memory forever-, but it may take some time... Beautifully done by Dimash, so beautiful that this is more than just entertainment, this is almost like my prayers. Thank you Gloria for the beautiful translation.

Sushiyrolls Dimash doesn't convey the emotion of this song. Kinda stoic and rigid in delivery, maybe too eager to show off his vocal than respect for the song. The original version, Koji Tamaki sing it like he is going to cry, in deep sadness in compatible with the lyric of the song with his subtle, broad and light voice making it almost angelic. No version still able to top Tamaki's, even king of Asia pop, Jacky Cheung fall far from it.

Florian Felice I don't know much about this song and music in general, so this is just a theory, please correct me if I'm wrong. I think that might be because he learned this song in a short amount of time, he's trying his best to not make mistakes or singing the wrong verse and his high notes + vocal dynamics are a way for him to convey his feelings since he doesn't speak the audience's language. Having lived in France and speak french, English and partial comprehension of Japanese, I would reflexively say, "of course" Dimash can sing in Japanese effortlessly because of his ability to speak Chinese, Kazakhstan, Russian and English; and not to mention that his first song was in French which launched his notoriety in China/Russia since 2017, and managed to remain "unknown" from the western media and had already a fan base of 650M before bursting through Europe and America in the 2019.( not sure if my timeliness of his popularity is correct) - anyway all this to write, I really don't think he is too insecure if he's acceptable in the western media or not or whether his language skill is doable when most loud-mouth critics are monolingual... I think he's a legend and truly astonishing artist. It behooves the so-called "greats" wherein lies his success and greatness. Most of the so-called greats are so "generic" and "has been" It's boring 😴 and ooh well... ciao

I just found Dimash 2 weeks ago, but apparently he's been around for about 2 years in Asia and Europe. I'm in America and he's getting very popular here. He is hypnotic and mesmerising. I'm blown away with his angelic voice. I don't understand the lyrics but he moves every fiber in my body with his tone range and my brain is completely in heaven. What a divine gift he has! I hope he stays away from America and all these white talent shows which won't bring him anything and does his thing in Europe, Russia and China where they appreciate him for what he is. He's God's gift in a human. When he sings paradise opens and I've never seen anyone, ever, like him. Beautiful, beautiful!

В ютубе сейчас полно реакций, которые делают и выкладывают разные люди на те или иные песни, исполнителей. Абсолютное большинство из них постановочные, где эмоции и поведение реакционеров, скажем мягко, выглядят не совсем естественно. И это понятно, ведь их делают для хайпа, чтобы как-то пропиариться. Мне больше всего на этом конкурсе не просто понравилась, а поразила реакция китайских зрителей и особенно, китайских участников конкурса! Абсолютная естественность, искренность и нескрываемые эмоции! А еще настоящая , не напускная доброжелательность к соперникам по конкурсу. Эту песню я слышал раньше в исполнении Кодзи Томаки и когда увидел, что Димаш на нее замахнулся, думал, что будет катастрофа. Димаш на деле доказал, что можно гениальное исполнение одним певцом, дополнить совершенно другим, не менее гениальным исполнением! Глупо их сравнивать, каждый из них рассказал эту грустную историю по своему, но оба красиво и печально! Остается только сказать: БРАВО ДИМАШ!

It's absolutely so refreshing to hear such an angelic voice singing with such grace and warmth. His voice and passion evokes such deep emotional balance and to see the audience moved to tears is very touching. Dimash is truly one of the most gifted and well controlled singer in history of our time. When I close my eyes I see an angel singing just to me alone and the world has stopped for a moment. Even though I don't understand the language but the subtitles that Gloria Wu put on really help deliver the story of the song. Well done and thank you Gloria!!
