Happy for him. He was able to control his emotions up there tonight. Sometimes he gets disappointed when he misses and it completely effects his game. If he gets that sorted he’ll win more often. He is the most naturally gifted player at the moment but that means nothing if you don’t keep your composure

Jesus , I was just thinking if Dan Dawson starts to get the bigger events unfortunately im gonna have to stop watching a sport I love. Every visit to the board is treat like the most important thing in the world , it really makes the important moments feel insignificant by comparison. Plus his over use of adjectives and emphasising every over word is grating. If you want to be the loudest voice in the room ala the great Sid Wadell it helps if your saying something of substance.

I enjoyed the commentary 👌 ,best ever during this tournament, because I'm sick ,(sorry Wayne), of the attitude that's darts must be nearly always perfect ! Understand we are human. He can be frustrating to watch sometimes but when he plays like this he his unbeatable let's hope he can turn it on in the world champs my son played in once and beat him many years ago unfortunately through one of is children having cancer he gave it up to look after her otherwise I think he would of gone on to greater things but family comes first
