People don't seem to understand that in the end, it's a sport, not a fight to the death with no rules. Rico's been the undisputed champ without losing for 10 years precisely because he doesn't engage in stupid/risky trades with low skilled fighters. The moment you start trading blow for blows, it's the moment a less skilled fighter can get a lucky strike in and take your legacy. Either way, Rico's best fights are the ones where he's pushed. He's been in absolute bangers against guys who turn it into a fight, and he always TKO/KOs them when they do. The guy is so skilled he can do the fight as a sparring session and beat you.

The commentators asked why Nabil would want to grapple with Verhoeven... It's the same reason Tyson Fury wants to grapple with smaller opponents like Deontay Wilder. It wears down the smaller (or lighter in this case) man. Since Nabil has about 100lbs on Rico, his weight would cause Rico to fatigue much faster when they grapple.
