Huge respect to Tate's opponent here. This was a very close fight, and Laszio had dynamite in his hands. Goes to show how tricky a southpaw can be to defeat for an orthodox fighter like Andrew.

Stupid people often make this argument. What's wrong with criticizing from the outside? We're comparing him with other professional fighters, we're not comparing him to any of us because we aren't professional fighters. Just like how we hold opinions about authors, singers, etc. We don't have to be better at their trade to appreciate what they do.

@@PaJo.. Crazy enough there was a chess Grandmaster named László Szabó, and Andrew has the same name as his father - Emory Andrew Tate, who was officially an "International Master", a rank just below Grandmaster. Although not officially a "Grandmaster" Emory Andrew Tate "earned a reputation as a creative and dangerous tactician on the U.S. chess circuit, where he won about 80 tournament games against grandmasters." So considering he could beat Grandmaster's and did many times I think its fair to say he was also on that level therefore he was also a Grandmaster. @@earthphoenix7068 in boxing, kickboxing and mma significant strikes doesn’t mean “strikes that are the loudest and have the biggest wind up” it’s all strikes that have the potential to cause damage and are landed cleanly without any block. His opponent did have more “big” punches but Tate had more kicks and punches that made contact without being blocked that had the potential to cause damage. So many people watch a fight where a guy lands 5 big punches and his opponent lands 20 strikes more but they weren’t as flashy or powerful and then wonder why the guy with the 5 big punches lost.

I gotta give it to Andrew, I am not really a fan of his social views but he can fight. There are some things he definitely has to work on, primarily stance. He stands up too straight and doesn't thrust hips with punches as much so they don't land as powerful, though you can tell he is training.

@wethegamers870
@wethegamers870 Жыл бұрын
@@julyfishy392 Mainly the idea of gender roles that he has. I believe in most cases, there shouldn't need to be gender roles. Both (men and women) should be allowed to be independent enough to make their own income, own their own property, clean, cook take care of activities and chores alike. Men shouldn't have to be the sole breadwinner while the women have to stay home and clean and cook Soto speak. He has some solid points but he always says some blatantly most traditionalistic ideas ever which are outdated and not useful.

Tate's strategy is to let his guard open in order for his opponent to engage more into attacking him, as if he's trying to let his opponent think he is notgood at defending. Deep down he is making sure to tire his opponent while still hold his ground and be patient about it, his endurance allows him to do so.. he is a very sneaky tactician

Thats his style. It got even "worse" later in his career, where his guard was all the way down. He had many eye problems during his career and developed that style so his eyes dont get lit up from blocking shots as much. Thats also why he called himself Cobra, because he lures you in, until he pounces when you make your move.
