Are you from Ch"lt"nh"m? Get yourself over to somewhere really dangerous and report back please. I'd suggest Guatemala City for starters. Cool jazz though.

Neglected, rundown and dangerous...that isn't just the park it's Gloucester generally.

It actually looks quite nice! But the news reports are terrifying...

It's always been bad, I'm 50 and remember living near here 40 years ago and it was scary then. Also, on one side of the park is 25 Midland road and on the other side of the park is Cromwell St. Say no more

Yeah. Imagine how useful it would be if city parks were safe and clean!

Sadly had to turn the sound down.

Because of the sound effects? I’ve dropped those and the music down by half in recent videos. Sorry!

Glad I left Glos/UK 25 years ago. Country's gone to rack and ruin, that park was nice when I was at school, but that was 50 years ago.

Grimy AF. Not a nice place, even in daylight.

Yeah, I saw some gross stuff on the floor walking around but didn’t want to get the video censored or anything 😅

@@ukexplored used to be a nice place. I've got pics of when I was a baby with my dad in the park, 1973ish. As the video starts, you're walking down the path that separates the cricket field and the park, the very flat patch of grass on the left there used to be quite a large, but shallow paddling lake - for want of a better description! The alley through to Weston Road used to have a footbridge over it, the new road that splits the park, yes, I'm that old, follows the old railway line there. Why didn't you feature the aviarys there?
@ukexplored Жыл бұрын
@@lloydclevely9956 I love hearing about stuff like that and how areas have changed over the years. You're right, I have no idea why or how I forgot to walk around to the aviary on that day, that's a fail on my part!

@@lloydclevely9956 it was lovely in the 90s when I was a kid, I remember that used to be all sorts of birds, even parrots and different animals

Just like a complete white wash by the media ,,,,, 😂 if you would have had the energy to walk around and see the war memorial .plus the band stand and the aviary with exotic birds . I live not far from there and I walk my dogs every night ( with poop bags ) the next time you come to Gloucester look me up and I will give you a proper tour of our glorious City . Take care mate.
