Gloucester Station - S&C Renewal

At Gloucester Station, the S&C South Alliance, made up of Network Rail, Colas Rail UK and AECOM, successfully installed two crossovers and two turnouts. Refurbished a turnout and rebuilt three station platforms. As well as successfully completing all works on time and on budget over the 7 day renewal, they also reduced fossil fuel consumption by 98% for Site Lighting, Welfare, CCTV and Small Tools.
We look at how the works came together and hear from Renny Jones, Communications Manager at GWR about how these works put the passengers first.
