Trains at Gloucester, GVL - 15/9/18

Welcome to Episode 4 of Rover Diverts! Today I am at Gloucester on the Golden Valley Line for CrossCountry diverts where services are seen by CrossCountry, Great Western Railway and Arriva Trains Wales (they were Arriva Trains Wales during this video).
Gloucester was a great visit for the diverts, you can get some excellent photos of the diverted service. This is a station with a lot of facilities and works well for its frequency with the massively long platform. Plenty of variety on show here too compared to previous visits to Gloucester. Certainly a station I'll come back to!

Great video! Passed through here yesterday after getting diverted from Carlisle - Newcastle - Swindon - Reading instead of changing at Wolverhampton all because of a landslide at Oxenholme!

I was born in Gloucester trainspotted there many times when I was a kid , will go back there soon and do Cheltenham spa as well

From what I know, 158766 did 2E88 to EXD where it then ran 5E88 ECS to Taunton on Friday where it was stored overnight. Then it ran a service to Westbury on Saturday morning where it then ran up to Swindon and then moved onto the Swindon Cheltenhams :)

RWL2012 The Pendo is really Complex to be honest but the 350 looks very straight forward to drive but it’s in a tight space which wouldn’t be very nice
