Glove repair - replace a finger tip

The "touch reactive" finger tips on my riding gloves aren't very durable and developed a hole much too quickly. I decided to try to repair just the worn tip instead of buying new gloves.

WAY over my head from the standpoint of DIY solutions given the sewing machine - would actually love to see you do this hand sewn. But watched until the end to see ppl fantastic at their craft! well done.

i patch jackets with remains of previous jackets and fix umbrellas by replacing broke spoke tips with pen tops- round spokes only not made-to-breaks...

You did a great job considering you used a home vs industrial sewing machine. Pick up some wonder clips for future use. Pins are a no no with leather. All & all good job & kudos for even attempting the fix!

Thanks. I do have some wonder clips, but due to limited fabric to work with, I opted for pins.

If the middle finger is touch friendly, then use that and do this method. Otherwise, one can use conductive threads and sew tiny X's or just stitch the heck out of the fingertips, and then there's also conductive sprays of carbon material (forgot what they're called). Also, I think you can use any upholstery or from discard shoes. I can also think of those tray/shelf liners as patch materials. Anyways, thanks for this!

Only 5 seconds in. These gloves have touch screen material that literally rips off the glove when sweaty. Anyway this is exactly my issue. Thanks for ur video let's dig into this. Peace dude

It would of been better to cut the finger off the gloves at the top & make a new one & put it back on. It would be a lot easier & faster fix
