Anyone who says anything negative about this video can "zip it" because this is the most useful video I've ever seen in my entire life.

This guy deserves an Award for making this video! I've had a broken front pocket zipper on my suitcase for about 10 years. Just watched this 5 minute video and fixed it in 10 seconds! No joke...unbelievable! Don't cut out the teeth and sew it back up, like other videos suggest. Try this 1st! 💯 🏆 👏🏻

Outstanding presentation and very clear. I have been using this method for some time, but now I can explain clearly how. Got lots of sharing to do. If you have a zipper block that has become too weak or broken completely, snip the teeth tracks open at the very bottom, slide on a new zipper block, closing the zip and put a tiny blob of hot glue or similar where you have snipped the tracks to close it.

I watched this video a few years back. I was trying to fix a 'pricey' bag I had. It worked. Years goes by, I forgot the right way and end up broken a lot of zipper heads. Recently bought a new bag, the teeth isn't locking well, thought I shouldn't put heavy things in it so it'll stop opening. Then I remember this video, had to go through a few to finally found it back. Now saved in my playlist. Thank you so much

Absolutely excellent demonstration! Up close and personal as well as thorough with necessary vocabulary; the silence helped me concentrate better. I would use a thin flat-head screwdriver rather than a knife which I might ruin or hurt something (like me). Where was this decades ago? I know; we didn't have internet back in the 1960s. All the stuff I threw away just because of a zipper really pains me now. I did save a few by removing the whole zipper and sewing in a new one; ten times the work plus the cost of the zipper.

That was a deliciously brilliant presentation of zipper-fixing. I LOVED that you defined every part of the zipper, and I could file these elements of zipper anatomy, easily in my brain. Now I know that when the throat of a zipper gets too wide, you have to take a pair of pliers and choke the darn thing. That was the most useful bit of knowledge I've come across this week (month, year?) Thanks, muchly.

Science Sir It's so crazy how I never could afford to have zippers replaced, so item would be thrown out, or upcycled. But, now I do know, thanks to you sharing your knowledge, & I'll be able to help my grandson with that problem. (Or me, if it ever happens again). It seems that it happens almost all the time with plastic type zippers.

For a zipper separating only at a certain point, close the zip while gently pushing the fabric around the backpack/garment inwards. So normally you pull it a bit outwards to close it, now you push inwards while closing. After a couple tries it will work

+Radish Rabit Well, there are things called opioids, benzodiazapines, and they work wonders for all kinds of problems. They work even better when taken in large doses of the powerful kinds and mixed with a liquid called whiskey. The process is very easy, so I won't bother making a video about it. I legitimately need mine ( lifelong chronic pain and panic disorder can make you non-functional ) for their intended purposes, but taking double, triple the amount or more will ease a broken heart until you can hook up with someone to love ( and get your heart broken again. Lather, rinse, repeat )
