My patience with cinema goers have reached an all time low. 15 yrs ago no one would make a sound and if they did they would feel like complete twats. Now no one cares. It's funny to laugh out loud, fart, cough sneeze every 2 seconds and so on. Fuck the cinema!

I can simplify this: 1) Eat, drink and take a dump before going anywhere near the cinema. If you can't control your bowels, your bladder, or your appetite, stay at home. 2) Turn your phone off of don't take it at all. You won't miss anything important. You will miss the film, which renders going to the cinema pointless in the first place. 3) When in the theatre, once the film starts, STFU :) Simple :)

Rwaat Plus knowing what happens, and experiencing what happens are two different johns all together. FOR EXAMPLE- my older cousin told me that Darth Vader was Luke's father when I was little. Did this ruin my movie experience? No, because experiencing that glorious scene was absolutely amazing and my foreknowledge of it didn't hinder me in the slightest. HOWEVER there are times when knowing the twist does ruin the movie, but that's usually when the twist is the best part. If a movie needs to rely solely on surprising movie-goers rather than clever plot or characters, its not that good a movie. This has been a 24 year old weirdo writing on a comment section! I hope you like it, and have a pleasant time period.

I can deal with most annoying people at the movies. But the worst are those who during a sad scene are laughing and talking. And those who are texting! I don't want to see your bright screen in the darkness because its like having an itch I can't get rid of. And then I end up looking away from the screen for a few seconds and forgot what was going on. If you want to text, or talk to someone, or you want to bring your annoying kids... go to something where noise and annoying people is fine like Chuck E Cheese or the mall. I do realize sometimes you can't always get someone to watch your kid, so you bring them to the movie. But the better plan is stay home then and go see the movie another time. With the price of tickets I want my movie to blow me away. Your kid crying all the time distracts me. I would never do it to you.

I work at a theater and here are some of my pet peeves. 1. When going to the bathroom or buying more snacks put your shoes back on or I have to yell at you and can't serve you food because it's against health code. Also ya nasty. 2. Please buy at least one snack. Movie theaters don't make money from ticket sales. MGM, Sony, Disney, etc. do. The money that pays the employees and rent for the building all comes from food sales. So if you're going to sneak something, please at least humor us and buy something too. It'll keep us in business and we'll be less likely to tell you to throw out the same candy we sell that you bought for $1. On that note, Don't bring meals or large quantities of snacks to the theater. Picking up like 12 fast food wrappers and mopping up a guac and cheese spill is a huge insult to us. We shouldn't have to clean up food we don't even sell. 3. Take your baby to the bathroom to change them. First of all you stink up the auditorium. Second, the carpets are gross and I wouldn't put my own naked butt on that carpet, why would you put your baby's? 4. Don't eat out of the cup holder. It may seem like a good idea to portion out your popcorn into them but we don't wash them like restaurant dishes. We just wipe them out with a rag. Some theaters don't clean them at all. So odds are you might get sick. Just sayin. 5. Don't get drunk at the movie theater. You annoy everyone, if you pass out in the middle of your movie you've just wasted your money and now you have to figure out how you're gonna get home if you drove. It's just not worth the hassle my dudes just stay home and watch Netflix. If you read this I hope you learned something and I hope you have an excellent day.

Slouching down sounds like a nice idea at first, but there are two problems with that. A) Space. You cannot magically shrink, your body has to go somewhere, and we all know that there is approximately between zero and minus five leg space in theatres. You are physically blocked from sliding down any. B) OW. OW. OW. OW. OW. Being tall in itself means you're already doomed to a life of back-, neck-, shoulder-, knee-, and just-about-everything-else-pain. Making those people slouch down and crumple up their bodies for up to three hours straight is effectively torture.

I am a tall person and honestly, that's not my fault. If the only seat left in the theater is in the middle of the row in front of a child or someone 5'9" or shorter, that is again not my problem. Slouching kills the lower back as well as the knees as no theater ever has enough leg space. Now yes I try to sit in the back row to avoid any of these problems but sometimes you are going to pay $10 to see the back of my head for 2+ hours, and that my friends, is life.

You forgot the rule about not bringing kids to movies that aren't appropriate for their age (which could be an addendum to the baby rule). all of these reasons are why they should bring back the drive in. emptiest theater i have ever been in was on valentines day (on a date mind you) to see a movie called "The Jerky Boys" if you don't know about this movie it was the lamest thing i have ever seen, the only people in the theater was me and my date, 2 guys who obviously could not get dates, and some poor girl who was some how tricked in to seeing the movie with her date and was now very angry, all of these things happened (except for the baby) and the cell phone was the girl (this was the time before texting so she was actually talking on the phone) her conversation was more interesting than the movie.
