I want to thank you for this song. It got me through the lowest period of my life. I woke up one morning while on holiday with the man I thought I'd be with forever, and he had gone without a word, I found out later he left me for another woman, never to return or speak to me ever again. I was in an absolute state, but would listen to this song with my headphones, staring at the Mumbai sunset hearing "I feel like I just hit the ground, wish I could show you what it's like"... For my thoughts to be articulated into words and a beautiful song helped me a lot. Thank you x

Wow that is absolutely crushing . Something happened with my ex and it’s taking me 2 years to just start getting over it. Sometimes love is like the most beautiful flower in the world but sadly sometimes it happens and feelings die. Have faith in yourself and “love will find a way it always doe” I pray 🙏 you find true happiness. Personally I chose to work on myself and that has helped me immensely especially in a spiritual level. Love to you ❤

I lost my dad in 2021 in front of my eyes. I have seen him taking his last big deep breath and going away forever while my mother is falling on the ground and screaming "My love, my husband, this cannot be true". At that moment I truly became an adult, saying goodbye to my beloved father and trying to calm down my mom while calling other families since we used to live just the 3 of us. A few days after his passing, I discovered this song and felt every word in my bones and heart. He was one of a kind, he was such a sweet man, father, and husband. After 3 years this song still makes me shed tears. Such a beautiful yet heartbreaking song for me. Thank you, Tobias!

This song was used as bumper music on a Schumann Resonance segment of Coast to Coast, and the section they played reminded me of my wife. It fit in perfectly with the short conversation we had the day before about what would happen and how we would feel if we lost each other. (I didn't know it was a break up song until I looked up the full cut here, so I told her just to pretend it's not one. LOL!) It's such a lovely tune with a groove that falls at the tail of each beat very beautifully, like sitting on the bow of a boat that's gently floating backwards. And the overall vibe feels like Tobias was walking through New York on a perfect day and looked over his shoulder to see the late John Lennon following behind already smiling back at him. I know people don't generally like to be compared to X's and O's, but it should be said; No one I have ever dated in my life, nor would I ever meet in any hypothetically grim future could ever hold a candle to what you mean to me, what you've done for me, and what you do with me. I love you, Mrs. Nottingham.

To everyone that claims he is "copying" John Lennon, let me clarify that this man is playing different chords in a different key on the piano that sounds NOTHING like imagine. As for vocals i understand it may sound similar to John Lennon, but I would recommend listening to a live version of this song to see how amazing and different it really is.
