i know i am late but i tried playing ARKHAM series(all of them) recently again. If croc can RECOGNIZE batman's smell. should not BRUCE WAYNE be in danger. I am trying to see one moment in games, comics or animated series when Croc comes across BRUCE WAYNE. He would have exposed him Also. Is it just me who feels bad for Croc? Guy was bullied by kids at school and so on, abused by his alcoholic aunt...all because of his condition. He grew to hate humanity because of it. It's a brilliant story for a character. That's what I love about Batman. I'm not a massive fan. I don't read the comics or anything or really watch the films, but even from just seeing the Arkham games and doing research on characters like Croc to learn his backstory, I can see how well thought out the back stories for the characters are. Especially Croc. 7:29 Safe to say I went “oh shit”.

Exactly, I was so disappointed how underused he was in the Arkham Series, the most interaction you get with him was in a 20 minute payed DLC that's a carbon copy of the Joker Clone fight from the Main game (Arkham Knight). His roles in the games got less and less each game with him making a second long hallucination in Arkham Knight which he gets killed seconds later. I feel like Croc could be a great main villain for a comic and he should be used more often.

I always found it strangely wholesome how the Joker got excited to see Killer Croc. "Croc, old boy! Is that you?!" It never even seemed like a joke. He appeared legitimately happy to see him. Fun Fact: Croc probably didn't killed Scarecrow when he "kidnapped" since crocodiles doesn't do that. When a crocodile catch a prey out of water, it drags the prey to a secret place under water and waits until the meat is soft, doesn't eat it at the start.

Croc got a raw deal in life because of his condition. But ultimately the choices as to how to deal with it are on him, as much as they are on Bruce and his decision to become a vigilante. Waylon Jones is another mirror for Bruce Wayne; although Bruce can't really relate to having an illness, he can relate to the hardships of life and lack of family. But Bruce CHOSE the Bat while what Croc has become physically was forced on him. But no, that doesn't justify his cannibalism or the victims he's laid waste. Anyone know that he's really African-American? He's from Louisiana. Based on his record, he was in and out of juvenile hall before his teens, and when he finally killed someone, he sentence was a lot longer. He could've stayed in the circus fighting alligators, but he turned to crime as a way of getting back at society for shunning him as a freak of nature, much in the same vernacular as the Penguin does. It was Loeb and Lee's take on him in Hush that I started to feel sympathetic; up till that point he was another monster to me. He hates the way he looks as much as he hates humanity, and these assholes in this game robbed him of whatever humanity he had left. I mean look at how he APPEARED near the end. He had literally become a humanoid crocodile between Arkham Asylum and Arkham Knight. I don't know really know who's the bigger monster in the latter half of the movie, Croc or the Warden? He's totally unrepentant and shifting blame to Croc because of how he looks. Jones may be terrifying to look at, but that man disgusts me. I'm sure Wayne Enterprises can look into reversing the mutation because God knows the Warden wasn't interested. Poetic how they wind up in side by side cells. I don't think the Warden or his cronies will be sleeping much.

I find it strange that aside from Riddler and Joker, the only other villain to appear in every single game is Killer Croc. He was the first boss fight in Origins (and chronologically the entire series), a stealth boss fight in Asylum, an interactive easter egg in City, and a side mission boss in Knight. And he gets more and more croc-like as time goes on. The devs must have really loved Killer Croc.

Croc is by far my favorite Batman villain. I always hope that something goes right for him (even if it involves some people getting eaten) just because how rough he had it. I grew up watching batman shows/movies & I remember when I first played Arkham Asylum and my jaw dropped when I saw Killer Croc. Nearly pissed myself when the boss battle occurred. The Arkham games are hands down the best superhero franchise
