Fantastic homage to the 1968 movie. The soundtrack is befitting of a modern-day remake if ever there is one. Good to see 90% of the locations still exist and are in good condition. Bullitt was one hell of a movie!

Bullitt cannot beremade. Modern youngsters couldn't understand it with a tutor at their sides... And besides, a car chase with silent Teslas is no fun to watch.

Great split screen, so many of the angles "camera view" were spot on. Nothing like a Steve McQueen movie.

Incredible video! I can’t imagine the amount of work it took to not only research the locations, but then to get the camera angles so perfect. And then the panning of the video in sync to match the original movie! Wow. Great editing. Very impressive work.

Nicely done! Very enjoyable! Years ago I, pretty much, drove the chase scenes, jumping all over the City. Love the now and then comparisons on how much most locations have changed; but some have pretty much stayed the same. In the film I liked the editing on the final part of the chase scene on Guadalupe Canyon Parkway where, to extend it, it was shot going both up and down the road before the final crash. Of course you can't tell that in the movie. Thanks for making the video.

Simply excellent. Very well done. The scanning synchronization adds a level of correlation to the original film that makes it much easier to appreciate what was then and what is now. I love any kind of then-and-now pictorials, especially movie locations as well as actual WWI and WWII battle locations. It would be great to see the techniques shown here used at some other locations. In any case, great work. Very enjoyable.

Fantastic video. You even got some places I had not worked out exact location. I laughed out loud at the car chase as it became so obvious from the street names that it was bouncing back and forth from Bernal Height to Potrero Hill to Russian Hill and back again. Then to the Marina and ended up on San Bruno Mountain. All on different sides of the City. Turn a corner, now three miles away. Turn another corner, back again... The car chase proper started on Army St. Cesar Chavez is one of those street names made up by politicians on the Board of Supes not from SF. The original Terminal 1 in SFO was knocked in the 1990's and replaced by the new building where you are not tripping over everyone's luggage at every step. Have you done any of the Dirty Harry movies locations yet? They have great SF / Marin locations. The school bus hijack scene was shot just around the corner from a friends house. Repo Man (1984) has some great LA locations too.

FUN!.........Well that original movie was filmed in moody (noir) semi darkness of night, which made it feel more sinister and foreboding. Great job finding the locations and matching them up. We lost so many great actors since the original movie came out. Good to see actor Norm Fell, again. He's been deceased a long time. Bullitt's Mustang was as much the main character as actor Steve McQueen. As a kid watching it,....I loved how the cars, "caught some air" as they flew over all those hilly streets. I remember some filming errors, in the original, when some "shots' weren't exactly lined up,.....or the smashed up cars in the chase scenes, didn't match up as some were not so smashed up. As a kid my eyes were glued to the actions on the screen.
