To make is easy show how you put it that nice on the pan. Its the hard part i want to learn

Roll it out between 2 pieces of wax paper. Once it’s rolled to size, peel one side off. Dust both hands with GF flour then place the dough side onto your hands. Once you’re over your pie pan release it into the pan. Gently peel the wax paper from the top and then lightly press the dough into a fit. Cut the excess and flute your edges... or just roll it gently around your rolling pin. Either way don’t place a lot of pressure on the dough as you roll it out or it can get tuff. I haven’t tried this recipe yet because “it’s not specific” about what GF flour brand is being used. “Not all are the same and that matters a lot!” Each of the GF flours respond differently in recipes and what’s actually needed to compliment that flour. Also GF flours are affected by the altitude, humidity and the weather they are being made in.... So to just say “GF flour” leaves the baker with a high chance of a rock hard crust. I would have thought that this being a Martha Stewart recipe she would have known that but she obviously doesn’t bake a lot of GF stuff.

My only issue is that not all gluten free all-purpose flours are created equal. I have two that i use regularly but for different things depending on what I am making. If the specific flour used here was listed, that would help.

How much butter is "one stick"? Not everybody gets their butter in "sticks". So frustrating!

One stick of US butter weighs 1/4 pound/4 ounces/110g and contains 8 tablespoons. Each tablespoon weighs 1/2 ounce, which equates to a metric weight of 15g.

Yes you could do this by hand, it take just a little more time to combine, but the result is the same.

Cook it most of the way before you put the filling in. Poke holes with a fork in the bottom first though and you wont have to put something heavy like the beans in it. Cook it low and slow since theres no cook time, seems like that's best for gluten free anyway. Put in the filling when its about done then put your top layer on if you have one and cook more.

Pre-bake from 5-8mins at 350°F so that it doesn’t become soggy when you put filling in. Then you can bake as usual (20-25 mins??) Hope this helps!
