My fiance mentioned she has not had a sausage roll for 13 years due to her celiac desease... Time to surprise her😊 thanks for the recepe! I am always trying to find gluten free alternatives of things she can't eat but it's very difficult where I live.

Brilliant great instructions. I just made cinnamon rolls with these turned out really well. The pastry for a bit warm and sticky just as I was rolling them up but didn't have time to put in the fridge. The cinnamon rolls turned out great!

Thank you for this excellent recipe so well explained. It is the first really successful GF pastry recipe I have found. I used it to make a Greek spinach and feta pie that was absolutely delicious. I wish I could attach a photo. Many thanks again, and greetings from Israel

Amazing recipe!! Tastes way better than even any kind of shop-bought gluten puff pastry. We used imported Caputo Italian gluten free wheat flour (yes, wheat flour without the gluten). Just incredible flavour, flaky texture, light and puffy. Thanks so much for an absolutely fantastic GF pastry recipe. Next bake-up, we're adapting it to make GF croissants. Can't wait. What an amazing find for anyone with Coeliacs or gluten intolerance. Now you can enjoy pastries just the same or better quality than gluten baked ones. Absolutely Fantastic!

My celiacs makes me allergic to wheat. You can take the gluten from the wheat but you can't take the wheat from the wheat.😢

@@ihmsfm1040 I hope you were hospitalised at 36kg, way too low. Symptoms include rapid weight loss, diahorrea, bloated stomach (from inflammation of small and large intenstine), extreme lethargy, pale complexion, exhaustion upon exertion, low blood pressure, heart palpitations or arrhythmia, nausea, vomiting, hormonal imbalances (e.g. in women a lack of menstruation), headaches, irritability, moodiness and sometimes accompanied with stomach pain. Requires hospitalisation with potassium and sodium IV drips (because the patient can go into cardiac arrest if potassium and sodium levels are too low), magnesium injections, supplementary vitamins and minerals, and depending on severity may also require steroids or other medications to reduce inflammation. Condition needs to be managed by a GI specialist. Keep in mind that it is not just gluten, but also SUGAR that triggers the auto-immune response in the microbiology of the gut flora. Some sugar is ok, but just keep it minimal.

Excellent, amazing stuff. With regards to sausage rolls, can these be prepped/made, then stored in fridge for a few days, then baked on the day of use? Provided pork is well in date.

Can also use a pastry cutter to blend Thanks for making. I don’t use xanthan gum. I believe I can sub in an equal amount of cornstarch? Can’t wait to try this out! Sausage rolls looked so good I believe I just accidentally “glutened” myself yesterday with a seemingly innocent ingredient - cottage cheese It never ends :(

Yep I think a pastry cutter would work - I've not used one before, as long as you can keep the chunks of butter it's all good! And sorry to hear you glutened yourself, so annoying when that happens!! x

Amazing as always!! I always thought this would be a laborious task for gluten free but you make it look so simple again. Could I cheat and just use GF sausages as they are to make sausage rolls or do I need to remove the skins? Thanks again.

I'm looking for a wheat free flour. I don't mind if there is gluten in it. Wheat doesn't agree with me. any ideas? I've tried ground almond's and such but its never fine enough for what IO need it for.

Hi nice video, I’m hoping to make this puff pastry for a beef Wellington... do I have to use xanthan gum or can I miss out that step??? It’s just I don’t actually have any in the house.

As she’s speaking with an English accent, I’m going to assume that it will be Doves Plain (all purpose) flour, as this is readily available in all the major supermarkets.

It would work but without knowing how much xanthan gum is in it, it would be hard to know how much extra you still need to add. You may need to experiment until you find the right pliability.
