If you roll it out on the parchment paper and cut them, all you have to do is lift the uncooked crackers and parchment paper and put them on the cookie sheet. They will break after being cooked. When I season them, I do it before cutting so the flavors are pushed into the dough.

These look delicious and I will be trying them. Handy hint I’ve seen on an Australian KZbin channel, if you’re making your own crackers, to make sure the sides are straight once you’ve rolled the dough out all you do is lift each side of the baking parchment or the silicone mat, one at a time, and then, using your roller, give a couple more rolls; this way you’ll end up with perfectly rolled edges and no jagged edges!

I love this tip! Thank you so much for sharing! I recently saw a similar tip about cracked edges on dough types of recipes that have been chilled. You run your hands just around the edges of the dough to warm it up slightly and that helps prevent cracking as well. Thank you so much for watching and sharing your tip!

I just made these. They are sooo good! Thank you for the recipe. The only things I changed was using the four cheese potatoes and add bacon. I'm going to add chicken bouillon in the next batch!

Could potato flour work as well? I've used BRM gf corn mix to make crackers and their very good! I look forward to trying these! Thanks! I'm allergic to rice so will try it with BRM alf.

I haven't tried that but it would be worth a try. Gluten free cooking and baking is all about experimenting to see what works and what doesn't. Make sure to use potato flour and not potato starch if you try that method

You can try but different gluten free flours will give different end results to the recipe. I have only used the potato flou in this recipe and cannot speak for how using rice flour will work.

Mashed potatoes are already made and contain moisture in them while the potato flakes are dehydrated. You can try them with mashed potatoes already made but you may need to adjust the recipe some. Best of luck and if you make them that way let us know how they come out!

Don't use instant potato flakes. They have to many chemicals,preservatives that aren't good for you.
