This dish is a 10/10! There's nothing I would change about the recipe I created and I can't wait to make it again. It was super easy to make and a huge hit in my home. I highly, highly recommend. Feel free to use the meat (or no meat) and the sauce of your choice. Enjoy!!
Ingredients
16oz ground Italian sausage
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon minced garlic
2 - 24 oz. jars Bertolli Five Cheese Pasta Sauce
8 oz. bag shredded mozzarella cheese (divide evenly)
2 - 13 oz. bags Celetano gluten free ravioli - frozen
Instructions
*Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
*Brown ground sausage in a large skillet
*Add minced garlic to ground sausage
*Spread about 1/2 cup of sauce to thinly cover the bottom of your casserole dish
*Add all of the remaining sauce to your ground sausage
*Stir in all of the dry seasonings; salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning and let simmer for 5 minutes
*Arrange one bag of gluten free ravioli on the bottom of the casserole dish and top with half of the meat sauce
*Top with half the mozzarella cheese
*Repeat the layering steps above with the second bag of gluten free ravioli
*Cover with aluminum foil, (make sure you spray the foil to prevent sticking)
*Bake for 45 minutes and remove foil cover
*Return to oven for an additional 15 minutes or until golden brown and bubbling
Tip: If you want it to brown more on top, broil on high leaving the dish on the middle oven rack.
