Bomber colour combo and that strap is the perfect match. I would only say I'd opt for blacked out hardware on the strap too.

I got my GL0244 just this month. For the price you got it for under $300 bucks, is already one hell of a steal. I admire the movement, changed my squeaky carbon/leather strap for a Grey/black NATO strap and it looks awesome. Great everyday watch, not your typical 13mm-ish thickness. Looks and blends sleek on your long sleeved cuffs. Worth every penny.👍🏻

I learned at Costco they are not an authorized dealer and the it is a Costco satisfaction "warranty". I stopped there but now I want to learn more as the Glycine seemed to have a great build for the price. Ant insights would be helpful.

Right, they are a gray market dealer basically. They have a forever return policy though. It's a great watch and for $279.99!? Perfect!

Any luck resizing the band? I bought from Costco earlier this week, and the darn thing won't budge an inch. Already broke my trusty old watch band resizing tool that served me well over 10 years.

Bought one and a month later went to adjust the time because it was off by a few minutes, then the crown came off and a spring flying out. What an experience, I never had this happen even with cheap Walmart watches. The Manager at Costco Mr. Corey was a bit of an A hole and didn't believe me so he unscrewed the crown to have the spring fly off...lol!

$279 for a Combat Sub *is* a steal, IMO. Cheapest one I can find over here in Europe is €475 plus €25 shipping. So even though I'm not a fan of the PVD-coated version, I'm a bit jealous now.. ;)

Put a BluShark AlphaShark nato or a Seiko premium rubber strap on it and it is one of my favorite watches. SKX still the top tho. Lume is terrible on mine after about 5 minutes.

@John Morris Agreed. Glycine wins for movement and how thin it is. One of my favorites in terms of its sleekness. Accuracy too. I left it on my desk and did a "ToolWatch" time test and it was perfect. +/- 0s. Granted, that was laying on my desk but that just tells us that even after the Invicta purchase, Glycine is still putting out top notch, high quality watches. As for my Seiko, it wins for lume and its 'x-factor' as some people would call it. There is just something about a SKX009 with a CrafterBlue rubber strap that makes it my top watch. Accuracy is like -20s per day tho lol.

It's a post Invicta buyout, but they are made in the original Glycine factory in Switzerland still to this day.

Invicta almost has no say over Glycine, they are virtually identical. That particular reference was made prior to the buyout. Its old stock.
