Glycogen are store only liver cell??? and why
@ansarimehjabeen14616 жыл бұрын
Because they have reach supply of blood vessels through which they supply glucose . And you know glycogen converted into glucose .as well as liver is the stored house for vitamins,etc.all over liver is the store house

Hello sir I want some topics in carbohydrate metobolism that are galactose tolerance test and their significance
@gusainjikinauni6 жыл бұрын
Also stored in muscles and extracellularly
@0014Amit5 жыл бұрын
it stores in skeletal muscles and kidney too. mainly in liver because to maintain glucose level in blood during starvation or well feed state.
@vaishalithukral91294 жыл бұрын
Had you told about the structural mechanisms behind the reaction and glycogenin role, it would have been more helpful though.

if glucose was stored as thousand of molecules of glucose, it would cause increased osmotic pressure. right? :)

Why glycogen is stored in liver
@asmajahan60796 жыл бұрын
Ansari Mehjabeen if we have more amount of glucose in blood,itz converted to glycogen. During fasting dis glycogen iz converted to glucose by glycogenolysis and utilized by our body.
@GavEMusic6 жыл бұрын
The first step supposed to be irreversible I guess..Or maybe i m linking it this with glycolysis 🙄🙄
@deeptiriyar18083 жыл бұрын
