Really enjoyed this video Darren. So much realism it almost felt like I was actually there!☺ As I told both you and David, it was very kind of you to allow me to tag along with with you as I thoroughly enjoyed the day. The weather was perfect, it was a great hike, and the company wasn't too bad either. I really liked your pano and wish I had done one from that spot myself. My single shot was a little too tight. Hopefully we can meet up again someday. Looking forward to part two. Cheers, Jeff

We had fantastic conditions Paul which made it all the better. However the following day we woke up to cloud. A fantastic video! This content is well put together and has a charming humility to it which I don't always see in hiking videos. What confuses me is why, after watching something like this, someone would be mean-spirited enough to give it a pejorative thumbs-down.

Great video Darren! I really felt your pain on the Devil's Kitchen and the steep scree incline up to Glyder Fawr, since I did this myself on a hot, sunny day this May with a group of people staying at Plas y Brenin (but I only had a daypack!). From Glyder Fawr we went on to Glyder Fach and then back down via the saddle at the rear of Tryfan. Great video - and now I'll watch Part Two to see how the photography progressed on your walk. :-)

@DarrenKnightPhoto5 жыл бұрын
You really should Jamie, they only real tough part is the scree. make sure you have OS maps on your phone as if the cloud rolls in (which it did on our decent) you need to stay on the path when entering the scree as it’s not obvious and can be quite dangerous if you’re not on point. Have fun mate 👍

Well done at getting to the top. For me the hiking came first and the photography was just documentary evidence of where I've been. I agree Iain and that’s why we took so long in getting to the top. We wasn’t in any rush and stopped as often as possible to appreciate the views in near perfect conditions. Hello Darren, I was watching a video about amazing goats climbing up and down dam walls and mountain precipices, and a curious thing happened ... because one of the goats looked like you(?)... and sounded like you(?) and was climbing up scree loose underfoot - or should that be hoof ;-) Anyway, now I've determined that my hand must have touched the screen twice because I put it back to the beginning and watched Glyder Fawr - part 1. You were just pretending to be a goat!🐏 😹 Now to part 2. Be well, Sir!
