According to Wiki regarding Alexander Morozevich: "His first win in an international tournament was in 1994, when at the age of 17 he won the Lloyds Bank tournament in London with a 9½ out of 10 score. In 1994 he also won the Pamplona tournament, a victory he repeated in 1998.". I remember this Lloyds bank masters in London :)

That first game is such a beautiful mate!

The last example was the best - the way he piled on the pressure by taking on h7 - beautiful. This is a very enjoyable series on sacrifices.

If there is a modern-day Mikhail Tal, it must be Alexander Morozevich!

LOL I spend 10 minutes looking at the position at 14:30 and black's pawn is on the wrong square.

In the final game, instead of Bxg7+, why doesn't White just take Bxh7+? Then KxB. Rxg7+. Kh8/6 and white plays Rd1, threatening mate on Rh1 next move? If Bh3, then R(1)f1, followed by B+ and mating. What am I missing? If instead kh8, then Rxg7, threatening R(g)xf7. So, Bxh7 can mate whether black takes the B or no . . .

Why didn't he eat the bishop with Queen from h4 to f4? If mozoroveich would have gone to h8 King goes from g8 to h8 eating his queen in h8 the rook on d8 eats black rook on f8 while black queen from f4 eats white rook on f8, that would prevent putting queen from c3 to h8 and maybe the game could have been a lot different
