I'm really starting to love Nakamura's playing style. He's such a human player, overly aggressive perhaps, but Naka really shows the soul of the game. These kinds of games are why I started to play chess in the first place. Maybe it's not always about winning but rather about the beauty of the game. And he clearly shows guts and balls.

For the 6:47 move, would a bishop to H3 sac be good? If the pawn takes then its mate with the g pawn.

First of all, good analysis is the key theme which makes this "8 sac" (I call them in that way :) ) serie much more fun to watch. KC, I'd been wondering that why 8? not 5 or 10. Tnx in advance...

chess is the most beautiful game on earth. Someone said that there are more possible chess combinations than the number of stars in the universe. thx kc
@ChrisVaust10 жыл бұрын
There are many, many more possible chess positions than stars in the universe. Roughly, we think there are about 10^25 stars and about 10^50 reachable chess positions. What our one sun is to the number of stars in the universe, the number of stars in the universe is to the number of reachable chess positions.

The third game, absolutely amazing. Beauty springs forth from a chaotic ugly position. 13:56

I'm guessing Qxf2+ then king takes, then Bc5+, king moves wherever on the f or e file. Then Rxf6+ but he can block with night or queen and I'd have no idea where to go from there. Let's find out :D

+Queen Rexy Oh my god I'm a fucking genius. And no one will believe that I didn't watch the video first lol. There's no way I'd see that if I were the one playing though. It's only more obvious because you know it's a sacrificial move. And there's definitely no way I'd see that if I were white. Also, *knight

In the third game ;Instead of N takes G2 what about Bishop to H3 threans mate and wins exchange and a better position and maybe mate

why not g4 in the first game?? to avoid the quick mate and the king can escape too
@joky429 жыл бұрын
why wouldt'n you stop the mate with bf3 in first one? he would be ~even in material

What? Nakamura born in 1987?! that makes him 27 years old only. Actually he won't be 27 for another week!
