As a long time mechanic, aircraft and electronic system technician I really enjoy watching your videos. It's really refreshing to see that there is still someone out there that knows what they are doing. And, not just trying to rip off customers. Thank You!

When I was about 11-12 years old (1978-79) I met my friends dad. He was a heavy mechanic for the city. Working on dump trucks, trash trucks, dozers, ect. His hands were all rough, cut up and encrusted with grime. I thought that was the coolest thing ever. I told him so and he said "Son, my wife hasn't let me touch her in 30 years, it's cars or girls". I became a musician! 😂😂😂

As I have said in re- ply to another video which I was watch- ing, more cleaning of the coaches makes the jobs you do a lot nicer. The engine bay I must say is immaculate. When I owned my truck w/ my friend, a c.o.e.Freightliner,it was powerwashed a lot and made maintenance a lot easier.Road grime & salt, an annoying combo. I know the buses are harder to keep clean under- neath unlike a semi tractor. Another thing I wanted to reply to was about the Wanderlodge w half a bank

You're running through all of my old stomping grounds where I misspent my youth. Much respect for the work you're doing and the attention to detail - I don't say that often. I hope that we meet some day - I don't say that often, either. As I get older and less physically able it's been a major concern for me, who I'd trust to work on my stuff - no longer a concern, as long as you're in business.

Thing is he remains philosophical over items like those odd interrupted slot nuts. Drive me wild they would. Along with a regular parade of items,all because these are tired iron. Big difference between an annoyance and,oh,say, badly corroded and stress cracked suspension mounts. The one is a pain to deal with. The other kills people. Important to know the difference. Cheers.

By the looks of the heat cracks in that flywheel someone has been slipping the clutch a lot, this is all down to the driver taking of in to high a gear or holding the vehicle on the clutch on hills instead of using the parking brake.

Would it be possible for you to put "Part One" in the title page or a link in the description of this one to make it easier to find. Is this an oversight or do you normally put "Part 1, 2 etc." to make them easier to find if it is a multiple part job? Makes it easy to type in to the search box. I'd like to see a top view schematic of the driveline, or a picture of the components lined up correctly, without the bus blocking the view. Did they make shorter busses in this configuration, since it was found important to reduce the length behind the rear axle?
@Grandpa825475 жыл бұрын
As deep as those cracks are, there has to be a bunch of crooked in there. Think JB Weld would fix it?
Lovin your channel, wish some were longer. Great buses, never really knew much about these buses. Are any of these bus engines 2 stroke.
